From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

8.8 cm Raketenwerfer 43
The 8.8 cm Raketenwerfer 43 Puppchen [b][3][better source needed ] was an 88 mm calibre reusable anti-tank rocket launcher developed by Nazi Germany during World War II.

The 8.8 cm Raketenwerfer 43 being inspected by Allied troops. Note the presence of the wrong ammunition[[

In game it could be build by a engineer, it should maybe need less time and ressources then a normal Anti tank Cannon , this thing should be faster pushed arround than a normal anti tank cannon.

Effective Range 230 m (maximum 700 m)
Penetrating power 100 mm / 0°

If you did choose yes in the first poll!

How should it be armed , the Event Squad?

Maybe a ZK-383 but 40 round version
If this source is correct then existed a 40 round version
Ceska Zbrojovka ZK-383 Submachine Gun (SMG) / Squad Support Weapon
Or a The Vollmer VMP-1930 With a Monopod?
Video about it.

  • Vmp 1930 for this Event squad
  • Zk 383 40 rounds for this Event squad.
  • Or something else

I dont know what that means.

This thing should be a device to build by the engineer of the event squad.

If i am not wrong the soviets have a special Mg and grenade Mg to build for premium squads.

Аг-2 Premium mortar squad

That’s probably what I thought it would be as a building. But honestly, I want to see this Thing on wheels, so that the fighters can push themselves And put it where it’s convenient, but… The easier way is through the engineer’s hammer)

When the Germans got their hands on samples of the M1 Bazooka, the Raketenwerfer 43 was already entering production. The simple design from abroad made quite an impression on German engineers — and it also left the Wehrmacht distinctly unhappy. No use for a pointless carriage design; we want the purest possible rocket launcher! With WASAG’s designers still reeling from the shock of the M1 Bazooka, the Wehrmacht handed the design task over to Hugo Schneider AG— the very same company behind the Panzerfaust.

After carefully studying the M1, HASAGs designers concluded that stripping away the Raketenwerfer 43’s redundant structure and keeping only the launch tube itself was entirely feasible. They redesigned the launcher’s firing mechanism, kept the original 88mm caliber, and gave the project the designation R.Pz.B.Gr. 4322. The Germans also ditched the battery used in the M1’s rocket — they considered batteries far too unreliable, especially in low temperatures — and designed a pulse induction generator in its place instead.
Compared to the R.Pz.B.Gr. 43, the Raketenwerfer 43 held the advantage in muzzle velocity and ballistics — the former at 110 m/s, the latter at 230 m/s — giving the Raketenwerfer 43 a correspondingly longer range. But the R.Pz.B.Gr. 4322 held an absolute advantage in mobility: the launcher weighed just 12.5 kg, easily carried by a single soldier. The Wehrmacht gave it the designation 8.8cm Raketenpanzerbüchse 6030 and put it into production, while refusing to invest any further resources in the Raketenwerfer 43. The “Puppchen” was ruthlessly cast aside.

i never did say that thing was perfect.

Panzerschreck and Offenrohr are Br4

This thing should be more Br3
