90 second spawn delay for Tanks

Eh? i showed the newest map its very easy to HE there at the start when you know the enemys default is
Same thing can be done on wald and Heilongjian whilst being more difficult can also be pulled of.

Ohh, what a coincidence you picked a tank with one of strongest HEs.

It wouldn’t be possible in like 90% of cases. You are being intellectually dishonest. Just to prove your point.

then i guess we should ban vehicles in general.

i dont have problem with this in confrontation cause both teams can do it and both teams can rush and kill enemy tank. so this becomes skill issue and tactic issue.

multi kill shots can also happen when you just shoot at cap in middle of match if enemy is concentrated enough. should that also be nerfed?

on another hand bad map design where you can shoot after you spawn(or with limited movement) directly on enemy cap/spawn and they dont have spawn protection is broken.

In a perfect world, Darkflow/Gaijin would fixes all their maps to be fair and balanced but cooooome on let’s be real here. We are talking about Darkflow/Gaijin here. Do you all really, honestly think that they would do such things? Realistically speaking, adding a spawn delay for tanks(If 90 secs is too much then 30 secs would do. The point is restricting cheesy HE spam on the very start of match on the first cap)instead of fixing horrendously unbalanced, unfair map designs. WT failed to solve this ever since they added the ground battle, and that’s been like what, since 2014 and that’s more than 10 years and it’s actually gotten worse instead of getting better mind you. :joy:

Yeah, like it wasn’t obvious at all.

It’s always the same story with this kind of people.

Says the guy that rage quits when his tank dies.

Anyways im glad its obvious how much i hate HE spam)) But im not just gonna make 500 posts nerfing everything for the sake of it, just the OP tanks/planes)

definetely need this, but also first cap on most maps needs redesigning… take Normandy with the mansion for example, drive down hill 50 meters and start blasting straight into first cap, all enemy packed in there… it’s jsut stupid design

I would vote yes but, 90 sec is a bit overkill. I’d say start with like a 15-30 sec delay. Enough time for the majority to spread out. That time along with travel time on the tank to gat in position should be plenty

If there had been, say, a 90-second delay, you would have had enough time to build an AT gun. More and more often, I see the entire team run away from the point and give it away for free. At this point, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. There is nothing enjoyable about a one-sided battle. It’s just a quick crappy win or a quick crappy loss.

I stopped playing defense. It’s just not worth my time or the stress in this crappy game mode.

Its not the same is in place for planes and no 15-30 seconds is not enough

No more flamingo rushes that punish unprepared teams :-1:

I’ll refrain from speaking on this topic generally though but i think this is a valuable lesson players need to know… on certain maps you need to GTFO of objective and place rallies so when your team gets wiped you can quickly spawn back… now is this bad because it’s incentivizing you to abandon the objective? Yes.

But i dunno… i do value the times you can get that first tank spawn and drop 20 kills in one shot… just like with planes until that was taken away… but tanks can continuously throw out ordnance so.

Eventually they will just start spamming HE into the objective anyway… especially on that map with the mansion as another mentioned.

Yup its really fun but really unfair ive done it so many times.

It’s not unfair in the slightest… it can be disabled by an AT rifle… it shows players they need to be aware of a tank at the start of a match… which is what you’re trying to prevent here so i can see your point.

With the damage it can put out in an open point? Perhaps… but just as easily as you’re racking up those kills your fun can be ruined… and has been done to me many times as usually i just go straight to the point… it is very annoying especially when stopped right before the objective… and the enemy knows just how much it is.
