9 man squads with PPS and mp-40 for BR4 or 5

So, I propose adding two event squads, each consisting of nine people armed with BR2 submachine guns, the MP-40 for Germany, and the PPS for the USSR. Such a squad would contain six assaulters, one engineer, one radio operator, and one antitanker.

I’m not sure about the BR. What’s stronger, a BR5 auto rifle or a BR2 submachine gun? I’d still favor giving this squad a BR4.

That is, this will be an event squad functionally similar to a squad of fighters with automatic rifles, but with an SMG with a lower BR, which will justify the presence of such a number of assault weapons in one squad.

I think such a squad will provide new experience and greatly refresh the BR4/5 setups.

I was playing with the idea of some sort of “reserve squad” type where you have big squads but with low quality gear. BR2 SMGs in BR4 but bigger squads is something that obviously could work well.

But then we could just as well separate Assault rifles and select fire rifles into a new elite small squad type and adjust BRs. There are many things that could be changed, but the real question is whether or not the current system is bad to begin with, which I dont think is the case.

I think instead the amount of Assaulters should be increased

its an interesting idea but I’m not sure if adding more full auto spam to BR5 would make it better
