+What I like:
The progression system is good and
The new soldier upgrade system is much better.
What you like
-However, we need to make sure that br1, br2 and br3 don’t fall on br4 and br5.
-choose the right br 3 but sometimes end up in Tunisia
What you like
- old enlisted
What you don’t like
-
the fact i cant play my favorite campaings anymore
-
lack of historical accuracy (Volkssturm guns in Moscow and Stalingrad, soldiers with winter clother on desert maps and desert cloths on winter ones…)
-
Totally unballanced gameplay. The game seemed fine before this whole BR crap (implementing the same system as in War Thunder just doesnt work for this game). BRs made the game less fun to play and didnt solve anything (and thats coming from somebody who barely reached tier 15 in Normandy, Moscow and Berlin, while having like tier 7 in rest of campaigns. I just liked the historical accuracy and the fact you could face way better/worse equipped enemy before, just like IRL).
-
research seems even harder than before, but that could be only me
What is not too easy to understand
- how could anyone even think this was a good idea?
You shouldve used the time to create new campaigns instead (Battle of France, Poland and Italy wouldve been cool), but no, we had to get this completely broken system instead which ruined a preety good game (my only issue was that reaching new ranks took too long, but that couldve been easily solved by just lowering the requirements for reaching new ranks…)
But anyway, #bringbackoldenlisted
Like:
Tech tree, perk system change
Dislike:
No control over map, miss the campaigns
Matchmaker seems totally messed up, to the extent that battle ratings are kinda pointless except for BR 5.
Game pacing has fundamentally changed to even faster gameplay
The games are much more one sided than before
Team quality matters even more, as you cannot carry vs 10 BR same or higher humans
Historical immersion has decreased
Like:
- Combined tech trees
- some squad filters
- perk system (few more refinements needed)
Dont like:
- lack of unequip all in reserve
- Customisation. Buying the same helm/shirt/pants for the same solider up to 5 times
- 2 MM queues. its “okay” but overly compresses. 3 will be much better
Not implented in full yet
- BR is pretty good apart from some inconsistant placings/double standards. 2 MM queues really limits this from its potential though. I find it a non event for now.

Overall, the tech tree as a concept, particularly in terms of UX… for UX I find it a huge improvement. I am sure far more experienced players can offer more valuable feedback on this, but I do think the new UI helps make the unlock process more understandable to a relative newcomer.
-
The maps, the graphics, the second-to-second game mechanics, the gunplay… I really, really like it all. It’s been absolutely squandered.
What you don’t like
-
Campaigns offered a structure that allowed play sessions to be, effectively, coherently themed – removing the campaigns and making there no way to coherently play in a quasi-historical way (please don’t jump on me for saying ‘historical’ – what I mean by this is basically themes and armies that make sense on the maps).
-
The shift to having whatever units and factions on maps is bizarre…
-
Ironically, by attempting to fix asymmetrical player mixes, you’ve made battles more asymmetrical in worse ways… battles with certain factions in certain map directions should be asymmetrical and relatively unfair. It’s fun, and really hard to find games that allow it.
-
Following from previous, this has made the game less fun and mentally engaging, tactically-speaking, and more challenging from a pure scissor, paper, rock perspective.
What is not too easy to understand
- The entire BR system is beyond alienating for newcomers. It is baffling, and makes the ability to choose which units you want to play on particular maps feel impossible.
I like being able to pick my perks and the research tree.
I am not sure how to advance to get better units
I am not sure how the battle ratings work so I can get the nattle aeeas I wanr to play.
I have a Moscow assault squad that has a rating of 5 but has earltly weapons. My Berlin assat squad has a rati g of 2 but has late war weapons. I cannot use the Moscow unit in Moscow and it won’t let me use the Beelin unit in Moscow.
What I like.
Now there are more players than not.
The flexibility of the new squad organization.
Monetary system
What I don’t like
Having Italians mixed with Germans and British mixed with Americans.
What I don’t understand.
Why So many people coming to post for first time to complain about merge after months of forum discussion about the merge.
What i don`t understand.
Why you have to white knight and counteract feedback from Game Veterans not liking the new update.
I have read a few of your anwers and i think It`s ok that you like it but it should also be ok for you letting everyone else not likeing the merge.
That just let you look like a fanboy.
What I like.

All the new sounds and weapon models are even more amazing.
Map updates physical graphics look great as well, I especially love the changes to fire and shadows.
Whoever does the in general graphics deserves a reward for such an amazing job. -
New uniforms for Tunisia axis units that I noticed where added and are nice, I like the concept of a helmet on a backpack as well, I feel this should of been added pre merge though because now nobody is gonna buy these amazing uniforms because less are going to use Tunisian units, especially the Italians.
-
Bots manning Mounted guns: I like this and this is a nice feature, now bots are more useful and can make mounted machine guns more of a threat.
What I dislike.
-
Campaign removal and map tier system: I feel this is the biggest problem with the merge is the lack of ability to choose a campaign and the limit of maps, it isnt even like a few maps are only available here and high ones there but whole campaigns, the biggest thing I play in Enlisted and enjoy is Tunisia and now I cant join the desert unless im low tier and cant bring my fun toys I bought for Tunisia. It does not make a ton of sense either on why this is.
-
Death to the accuracy: I knew this was gonna happen now with the start of the merger to a level because chaos was unavoidable until a system can be put together, but if it does not return to a level at some point it will affect the game I feel, a lot of people like the semi accurateness and effort of Enlisted to be somewhat accurate. Now that Italians are defending the Reichstag and desert Lee tanks can fight in the Pacific that has gone out the window entirely. A system can be put in place I feel but without one it will get really silly and old eventually.
What confuses me.
- New Tier system: The old system I felt was fine with some noobs and some veterans and mostly based on what you had, now it is a mess with people spamming high tier stuff and overpowering people quickly more often based on what Tier you are, and low Tier people in III who dont have higher stuff can be pinned against people in IV, a system based on matching based on equipment you have in general equipped I feel would be more fair matching an if you get pinned against people with better stuff this way at least they are not in a completely different league and at least close to you.
What you like
- I like the Research tree idea , but how it is now feels frustrating
- With Merge new Oportunity to add new Fractions , Map Scenario and Weapons
What you don’t like
- Having like overall +40 Squads … why dont you guys just give Squads Unique Ranks? like Squad X BR1 just letting get them Tier 1 Weapons, Squad Y BR2 → Tier 2 Weapon kits and connect these Squad with fitting Camos and Maps, isnt that hard…
- Using Perks for every Soldier in squad is such a pain, why not letting us make a preset for different role and just let them adjust if we want to.
What is not too easy to understand
- Improvement for Troops are not showing also why i have to buy every troop and equipment in research tree to use the advanced equipment - wasting credits which are way too hard to earn since the new update.
Simple.
If I wasn’t happy about the game I’d be using my time playing something I enjoy.
Merci.
‘‘What I don’t like
Having Italians mixed with Germans and British mixed with Americans.’’
Agreed, now I can’t even recruit all classes Italian Soldiers for my Italian Squads, not to mention their all appearance is german in all Maps except Tunisia.
And they also bloat up the Tech Tree by not allowing Italy and British be their own Nations.
I have new update for the day
What I like
- I still like that I can choose my weapon research target.
- I still like the troop perk changes
- I still like that all my combat points from any map get applied to a single weapon research target rather than spread out to different weapons in different campaigns
What I don’t like
- Matchmaking is atrocious. I don’t want to play Tier IV (I have no Tier V weapons) because that locks me out of the maps I want to play in the Pacific.
- Matchmaking is atrocious. When I play Tier III so that I have a chance of playing Pacific and Normandy (the maps I want to play) and I get sent to the Pacific, NOBODY ELSE KNOWS WHAT TO DO Nobody defends points. Nobody sets rally points. Nobody drops ammo crates. Nobody knows how to fly.
…I just played a Guadalcanal where somebody got to a plane before I could (why is it that EVERY round I play, somebody else gets the plane before I can???) He just flew around overhead goofing off. He never strafed. He never targeted armor. He just flew around and EVENTUALLY got shot down after ignoring a bombing run. I jumped in as quickly as I could, chased down the bombers (only had enough time to stop 2 before dropping bombs) chased down and took out all of them, dropped the enemy fighter, then took out armor and earned Armor Eater, Best Pilot, and Crusher…IN TWO MINUTES of flight time. I shouldn’t be able to do this!!! My God you guys have absolutely ruined all of the maps that you assigned exclusively to Tier I, II, and III
Oh I am, I just rather play the old enlisted than Hell Let Loose like I have been.
Why tier IV fighys againsy tier V ? I select all from IV … and fight against V …
Feedback about last update:
You seem to have introduced a bug where the game still thinks I have a living squad member (tank round took out entire squad) and is waiting for me to switch to him, but all squad members are actually dead. It has me in spectator mode. “Kill Soldier” does nothing. I’m waiting for my team to advance the grey line past me to see if it will update the game and send me back to squad selection
[Edit: at least that did it. After the grey line passed over where the game thought I was, it sent me back to squad selection. Unfortunately, my team of noobs burned up 900 reinforcements getting to the 4th CP. I went in to take it and earn us some more reinforcements, but those 125 I gained for us lasted all of 45 seconds before they had burned our number back down to 0]

Queues are gone. Im playing almost exclusively TIII soviets and finding matches is instantaneous.
I really like the new research system. I had stalingrad and moscu maxed, only top weapons of berlin left. Now i can focus on the things i really like of tier V, instead of grinding 3 things i wont use before the one i really like.
Tier III seems (on soviet perspective) the most fun of all. You can play on every map, and you are not invincible, nor a sitting duck on any of them. Im an experienced player, so im comfortable playing berlin with only TIII equipment, but also, i really feel there’s more diversity of enemies than before, more types of tanks specially, so i’ve had a lot more fun fighting against different Pz III and Pz IV, Panthers, Flamethrower tanks, and tigers I and II, than i ever did against the endless horde of indestructible Tigers II.
The new perk system is awesome. I can really customize my soldiers to my liking instantly as they gain experience, instead of having to grind experience again and again.
What you don’t like
First of all, balance has to be worked upon. For example, right now, the moment you equip a soldier on any of your squads with a TIII weapon can be thrown in berlin against fg42s and king tigers. And when that happens, specially with vehicles, is completely unbalanced. BT7 are common sight right now in berlin facing Tigers, same pzII against IS 2. I feel it happens a little more on soviet side, as german players seem to have, for the most part, grinded the berlin and normandy campaigns completely. I feel more Tiers are necessary. Tier VI, for example for the really advanced stuff like Tigers II and Is 2, and space matches for example like T1, 2 and 3; T3, 4 and 5; and T4, 5 and 6. I think that would improve a lot the experience. On the other hand, when that behemoth that has been invincible the whole match finally falls, it feels amazing, that’s something to consider as well, but noone likes a match full of light tanks against the heavy hitters.
Premium squads HAVE to be reworked. Italians on Berlin is attrocious. Not only for historical accuracy, which i understand has to be left on certain degree, but also in balance. The flamethrower paratroopers where a great fix for tunisia but in berlin, the first days of the update i was literally raining hell. The historical part can be fixed to a certain degree with some new uniforms for them, which if i remember correctly is something that’s going to be implemented. But paratroopers in general need a rework, just like halftracks are going to have their special mechanics with their slots. I think they should take the vehicle slot, they are powerful enough that it’s reasonable. If not, at least some limitations on how many can be deployed by a team. I dont think a timer, like planes, would work, because being the first in the fight is something that gives them a lot of their character, and i wouldn’t like for them to loose that.
In the EEUU tree there’s also the problem of like 20 bolt action rifles. That’s simply too many. And the 10 round ones are Tier III, which i understand because they have to be balanced against japan as well, but it simply doesn’t fit well. I think when more maps are available these problems could easily be fixed by making England (or the commonwealth as a whole) and Italy their own trees. With some new scenarios on the pacific, we could see english and their allies fighting the japanes, which will also help the japanese tree, and with maps of italy, we could see them fighting british and EEUU there. The real fix, i think, would be to make separate trees, but allowing different factions who were present on the same map. For example, british and EEUU trees against german and italian on tunisia or italy, or even royalist italians with EEUU against germany and italy on italic peninsula. That way we keep as much of the historical accuracy as possible, allowing shorter queues as there would be more maps for the matches, and we keep factions and equipment out of theaters where they shouldn’t be seen.
As a side note, i would love to see unlockable decals and camouflage for tanks and planes as in war thunder, instead of all of them being for sell. That’s a great mechanic who allows you to show enemies and allies your achievements in battle. And will also allow more players to play their tanks on the camouflage corresponding for each theatre.
What is not too easy to understand
First days where hard to administrate hundreds of squads, soldiers and weapons, looking how to configurate different presets for different tiers, etc. I’ve played with a friend who is new to the game, and there should be a tutorial on how to administrate your forces, soldiers, weapons and experience on squads and soldiers, because right now is kind of messy to learn from zero.
Well this was my first comment on the forum, and as they say here in Spain, i’ve written i bible. I hope it’s somewhat helpful!
Nerfing stats from paid content without saying it in the patch notes is a pretty bad practice.
What I like:
Tier system needs to be improved but it’s fun to make different army presets and build around the tiers.
New soldier upgrade system is much better
What I don’t like:
Old players cannot progress their research from where the left off and must research and purchase every single item in the line in order to return to their previous progression. This feels like a massive gut punch and punishes players for not playing multiple campaigns.
Silver is used for much more now and for some reason you MUST purchase a researched item in order to continue, no matter how trash it is. This wastes a ton of silver on items players don’t want or need and is yet another barrier for player progression. Buying weapons and upgrading items is already difficult enough in the economy.
Tier 3 needs the most improvement in the tier system and even tier 4 US struggles against Germany currently. Japan also cannot compete with the US making the US in a very weird place.
Bolties are tier 3 when they should be tier 2.
Massive amounts of squads leading to clutter. A suggestion is to make generic squads and for them to be customizable to have the names and logos from previously owned squads. Changing army presets should also switch the soldiers and gear on them so that the same squad can be used in multiple tiers.
Weapons and vehicles have tiers now but utility gear such as large bandoliers and Soldier 3 do not have tiers and are able to be used in tier 1 squads. Tiers need to be added to all items over time as now players have extreme meta loadouts that are impossible for newer 1-3 players to have.
