The current default match cannot be played because there are no players in the default match due to the current custom match. Custom Match should be an occasional fun mode, not the main mode of the game. Separating campaigns and countries makes no sense if all campaigns and countries are merged due to custom battles. This makes the game like Battlefield. I used to love Enlisted’s historical campaign battles and fighting with real weapons and gear, but now it’s all put together, which is very disappointing.
You will need to either reduce experience points in a custom match or provide a shop card to the default match so that users can replay the base match.

I… Dude you know you can disable the mixed nation stuff right? And there’s nothing more a-historical in these custom matches than there was in the default modes? In the default modes there are plenty of a-historical things like the Jumbo and weapons that aren’t properly assigned like the FG-42 and the BAR. The base game itself is purely a-historical in of itself even though it’s based in these historical landscapes. As far as I’m concerned, the only thing historical even in the base game are the map visuals and most of the weapons included. Other than that it’s the same exact thing as the custom matches.
But in the custom matches, you can literally avoid and disable everything you’re complaining about. Except for XP gain ofc. But let people earn XP in these matches. There’s no problem with that wtf. The game without premium is already grindy as hell. Why would I want to waste time on a match where I can’t even earn XP towards my gigantic XP bar? There’s no issue here it’s not like it’s exploitative or anything. You gain literally the same if not less XP here as you would in the main base game. So there’s nothing wrong with players earning XP here.
Edit: And what do you want Gaijin to force players away from custom matches? Fuck that let people play what they want. People are only playing custom matches because they can finally choose the maps they want to play or play how they want to play. There’s nothing wrong with that and if you don’t like it then just start your own custom match with your own parameters. I can tell you earlier I played Berlin and it was the most historically accurate experience I’ve had on that map for a while. Same with other campaigns and whatnot since the meta builds of many players are rarely present now.
Fuck me man, imagine people actually asking for ways to NOT earn XP in a game. Especially a game like this that’s grindy as all living hell without premium

There’s been a lot of this in my mind today with the posts I’ve been seeing 
I can’t agree.
There are still a lot of people playing in regular matchmaking as well.
All players are free to choose between custom battles and regular matches.
Custom Battles give you the freedom to choose and play characters from different factions on different battlefields.
Also, the person hosting the custom battle can set various rules in the settings.
In custom battles, players are not matched randomly, but you can match with your friends, and other players can always participate at the same time.
Do you think there is no reason to play in regular matchmaking?
If so, all you need to do is add a reward that can only be obtained through normal matching, rather than remove the cards or EXP you get from custom battles.
I can’t agree with you to delete EXP simply because someone is playing in a custom battle rather than a regular match.
Personally, I mostly play Loner mode, currently only Loner mode can be played in custom battles.
People like me who want to play Loner mode will play it without any rewards including EXP.
What are you worried about? Don’t want new players with lower campaign levels to use custom battles instead of regular matches?
I just played and I’ve seen new players still play regular matches.
Some of them even leave the game because they’re literally slaughtered.
I also recently returned from quitting the game.

I’ve tested it. I joined the defense team and got over 200 kills.
And I got 8k-10k EXP in 18-20 minutes. (non-premium)
I got the same amount of time as regular matches and less or similar EXP than regular matches, even though I got 100+ more kills than regular matches.
My Normandy campaign level is currently 17.
I need 144k EXP to get to level 18.
Even based on 10k, which is the highest experience I’ve ever had in custom battles, I have to play the same game over 14 times to get to level 18. And sadly I don’t even have much time to play that much, and it’s boring to play this way.
And most normal people wouldn’t be interested in creating a private room and continuing to kill bots to get EXP. Sooner or later, they will return to regular matching on their own.

Everyone makes a room alone in a custom match and is playing a game that only receives experience points. Very few rooms are crowded. Most all rooms are a mix of different campaigns and factions. I want a basic match. Even if I make a room like the basic match, no one comes. Everyone is playing alone. So, there is no one in the basic match, and everyone mixes campaigns and countries with custom matches, then the system that divides campaigns and countries becomes meaningless.
Make it less xp than normal match is acceptable like 75% xp . If non xp gain so there are no one spend time in Custom Game and it make no sense to do that.
Not another one. Do you people even bother to look if similar threads have been posted? Why do you want to be nerfed? Would you be okay with it if I kicked you in the balls?

Devs have tweaked exp gains earlier. If they dont reduce custom match exp, they have to ‘tweak’ exp gains for both modes.
Cause its stupid that best way to gain exp is block your OWN team full of bots in spawn while attacking and farming defenders infinite bots.
If you use mounted lmg/engi mg enemy bots dont even target you. After 4000kills just win match easily.
Why dont just add button in main menu that add 100k exp?

Farming is already in the game in standard modes. Every JU-188 or BF-110 flying in circles and continuously bombing/rocketing the beach on Normandy. Every Jumbo sitting a half-mile from the objective in the gray zone lobbing HE onto an objective. Every engineer that memorized the bots’ most common avenue of approach and built MG nests or flakvierlings to wholesale slaughter them. Those are all farmers, and they’re present in the regular game modes too.
At the end of the day, in what way does farming truly affect you? If another player has the patience to sit and grind out that many unexciting kills in a room by themselves, who cares? Power to them for dealing with the grind in their own way. I understand fears of the devs reducing xp gain across the board because of custom games, but I don’t really think it will affect their bottom line very much. People will still want premium squads to make the grind faster, they will still want premium time for the same reason, and they will still want to spend money on more weapons and soldiers for their squads, especially when the weapon overhaul comes and eliminates bronze randoms.
The point is, grinding in a custom match may be easier, but it is still just as tedious as grinding in regular matches. It still takes just as long, is just as likely to bore or frustrate players who want those high level golden calves as possible, and is pretty much as likely to drive them to spend money.

Honestly, I max Axis Normandy player am currently leveling Axis Berlin in custom battle. It is so effing boring. Who ever is dedicated to do this 24/7 to get eventually to high tier has so much patience and it is a miracle he didn’t die from boredom that he deserves the XP.
For me, I rather play normal mode, some hardcore custom servers (if there is at one point enough players). Fighting only bots is soooooo booooooring (no tanks, no planes, no arty, just infantry that gets slaugther and occasional 360 no scope headshots you).
Also since now I know what differs bots from real players I am quite surprised how many people I thought were bots, are actually human. Wow.
