This sums my opinion up on it pretty well.
I have no interest in farming this way, but I wouldn’t begrudge someone else who wants to sit there for hours to do it.

Exactly! It’s just like, it’s super boring to grind against only bots in the first place. No mad man is actually gonna sit there in these boring matches and subject themselves to hundreds if not thousands of hours of that shit just to complete a campaign.
If they can, then even more fuckin power to them. But I don’t see the vast majority of players(myself included) doing this at all in the future.

Lol same actually. I started playing with the bots yesterday and examined how they moved. And I was surprised to see them doing all these moves that looked like something a player would do, and I was blown away!
At one point it looked like this not was walking slowly, looking carefully around at his surroundings and was moving slow like some more cautious players would move. But then he started running out of nowhere and the bot esque movement resumed. But for that split second I really thought he was human and it blew me away lol
Aside from that I’ve also seen other bits of their movement which made them look and feel more human which is pretty cool imo

It really seems like a lot of players are trying to demonize this new mode and saying that it will disrupt balance or some crap like that. Or that it will artificially boost players campaign levels or anything like that. But even then if they are right that it could artificially boost those campaign lvls of new or other players, in what way does that affect them at all? All this is allowing is for people to play a chill game while still earning XP towards new weapons and new shit.
Grinding or “farming” in this mode isn’t gonna turn these players into the fuckin Doom Slayer or some shit and it won’t give them some unfair advantage. It’ll literally be the same exact grinding process as it is in the base game, but more boring and just as tedious. It’s literally the same thing, but just with a bunch of bots. Let people have fun with this if they want to. If this is their thing, let them have their thing while being able to earn XP. The game is already overly grindy anyways. It’s not like a few thousand XP here and there from a custom match is gonna affect much 
especially in comparison to the fucking 100k+ campaign lvls.
The players will still experience the same frustration(speaking from experience) and will still be pushed towards the same monetization schemes(e.g the BP, premium, etc). It’s all gonna be the same thing in the end so stop bitching and let people have their thing. Once again, beautifully said to the dude I’m replying to 
Well now you can only have 2 bots on a custom battle, one per side. So it has already been taken care of. Should have spent more time grinding some Berlin levels

Sorry nope bro, I just wanted to do one or two battles to farm a little bit more XP and when I started the battle there was just me and one enemy bot. So I left and checked settings and there I saw, you can only have two bots … .

I even think that they should delete the match and turn this custom lobby into a game mode. People are free to choose what they like to play, whether it’s a faction or a map. The best thing about customization is that I don’t need to play the map that I hate. , Such as the quarries in Moscow or the Normandy marshes, etc. 
My apologies to resurrect an old thread, but this brings up a good question I had regarding CUSTOM MATCHES, which I like to play in so that there aren’t any bots. How DOES one go about changing their faction? Plenty of times you have russians and americans playing on the same team, but how does the individual player choose between a russian squad or an american squad?
