Would you recommend this game to your friends to play?

Honestly if it was a year or 2 ago i would say yes i would highly recommend them to try this game but with the game as is now i wouldnt recommend and will tell them to wait.
Why i say this is because:

  1. The separate campaigns are dividing the players too much that alot of the matches are PVE.
  2. The linear levelling system without any form of matchmaking usually makes matches a curbstomp fight with no opposition at all due to high levelled players vs low levelled players.
  3. The unlocks for the weapons are almost entirely same in every campaign with nothing unique to them in each campaign.
  4. The fact that experience are not shared between campaigns or both sides of Allies and Axis makes the grind way too much.
  5. Lack of maps, if they had more maps its more interesting to play because it can be a different area each time.

These are just the things i can think of at the top of my head and are personal opinions.

I recommend it to ww2 fans who have some slim hope that the devs get it right

Yes coz it’s fun to play. Have a high variety of weapons and vehicles no other ww2 shooter had to this day, the cahotic nature of batle suits me prety well

Yea, Have done that with a friend like a year ago. We play together every now and then.

Game definitely has some issues however I still got some hope they can get it right.

When it comes to premium squads they can tone those prices down. It is a lot. the battle pass (single 10$ payment if you finish it every season) and premium prices are solid. (down to 20$ a year on discounts)

I’d recommend it only to people who have high interest in ww2 projects and nerves of steel as it lacks stability, balance and even basic features like beepods which don’t mean much fun for players. I personally hope Enlisted will overcome it’s crudeness and evolve, giving people standard features of other ww2 games with adequate balancing

Yes. This game is a lot of fun despite its problems. If your friends have a strong interest in WW2 campaigns and weaponry then they’ll have a blast. It also costs nothing to try it. If they don’t like it, nothing lost.

You’ll find a lot of hysteria and moaning on the forums, ignore most of it.

I raccomand the game for who want chill and kill time

Yes.

Because I want my pals to play with me. Selfish reason, heheheh

I could recommend it, game itselft is good, but i know mostly sane people and even i would propably not play this game if i were not here from start of open beta.

I still remember the first month, i played a lot, mostly true f2p at start, i never spend money on f2p games i just started playing.
After a month i got decent level 20+ in Normandy Allies, it felt good untill i looked at the prospect of grinding not just another side of campaign, and then diffrent campaign in Moscow with same grind again.
When Berlin came out i was focusing on playing just two out of six, still took me half a year to get 2 sides done and few 10+ levels in other capaign. That was when we had 2-3 campaigns and grind was still pain.

Now imagine new player in this game:
-6 diffrent campaign, 2 sides each
-most of them are no longer 29 levels, moscow and normandy are at 39, berlin 37 (and 180k xp levels start after 20, so way harder to catch up)
-no matchmaking, so 50/50 you play against maxed 4-stack than anihilates you
-most unique squad are locked behind AAA games prices, for single campaigns

I would like to recommend this game, but for now i can’t.
Most new players are not gonna have great time, only few who like the setting, don’t mind grind and throwing shitload of money on f2p game

This is not wrong. I recently converted (at last) a friend to Enlisted. His top faction is Tunisia axis at lvl 10… (His sweetheart is Italian).

He would not play if I wasn’t here to guide him. I carry most times, and I know which matchs to simply desert from the start (I want him to keep playing, not going to force him being a punching bag).

Would be interesting to see some “mentor” program of sorts. I’m here for my pal (LOL I converted him to play with me!) But many new players simply don’t know anyone here yet. It was easier when we started as there was only 2 campaigns with more or less 20 lvls.

I wish we could trade some of our older firearms. With a maximum price cap to prevent abuse (you earn more bronze for trading with others IF you want, but cannot exceed a certain fixed price in bronze)

Would help newcomers.

In any case, the news of today about more xp for actions other than kills is a great step in the good direction.

Seeing someone new navigate squad system, trying to buy gun with 6 silver they have just to equip one more assaulter.
You want to help, but there is so much:
-when they are happy with their lvl25 assaulter squad but don’t even know other campaigns have grind from 0 with over 30 assaulter squads total
-when they don’t even know mp40 is in 5 campaigns but each have separate grind, bonus mp38
-list is longer but we know

I salute You for helping friend with tunisia axis, at least now that side has fighting chance and more players now.
Imagine him playing solo first time this game when Tunisia came out, he like italians, go play matches with 0 engineers and 0 team, poor guy would leave so fast.

I would recommend.

It is very good and “clean” game.

You shoot and you know that you hit the enemy or not. You die and you know who killed you.

In other games you are shooting and shooting… and when you die you only get “killed in action” screen.

There are also people like my friend that says that Enlisted is too similar to War Thunder (at least tank combat) and he doesn’t want to grind in yet another game that also has overpriced premium packs.

At times lighting in a game is so dark that you can’t see enemies that are camping in the buildings, it’s happening in Moscow a lot of the times, sometimes in Tunisia and other campaigns.

simple word, NO!
Too mutch grind and not enought players to fill “lobbyes”.

Many of my friends wont touch this game because of the trademark Gaijin factors. I remain faithful to the project. We need more dynamic maps for existing campaigns. Get rid of that back and forth battle, its a crazy yo-yo headache.

Can’t recommend it, at least in the state the game is in now. Making new players play against veterans with maxed out gear is stupid especially when said veterans tend to stay on the easier side of the campaign and all the newbies get put into the same team.
