It’s literally the same thing, only with normal armor. It’s a pity that I only sponsor War Thunder in Enlisted, and they’re not going to make new tanks here.

Why would it be silly to add a Tank Destroyer that saw combat in WW2 as opposed to the fictional Allied and Soviet weapons?
Variety is good. Both should be added. The open topped one could be event and the other research tree. Just an idea
I’m a bit late to the party, but there’s a simple solution to taking out the Jag: blow of the tracks. Literally that simple. If it has no turret, and you approach it from an angle good enough to take off its tracks without it shooting you, blowing off the tracks pretty much ruins a tank like this. Sure, it didn’t blow up, but you can pick off the tankers that try to get out to fix the track.
Another thing; the MG port is notoriously weak on tanks like this; if Darkflow did it correctly and made the port pretty thin, e.g. 50 mm, a Pershing could easily take this out (if you’re a good shot).
If you’re worried about map balancing with planes being able to take this out, I think that a good thing to remember is there’s already kinda this problem. Certain maps are great for planes, and others are absolutely terrible. I also agree that we don’t really need the Jagdtiger; but, I mean, heck, we don’t really need all the variants of the Jagdpanzer IV, or both the Lee and the Grant. They’re just there for variety and fun for the player.
However, I completely understand your concerns about balancing issues. I don’t know that it would be a good addition; I agree with most of your points. However, I don’t think it would be a game ruiner if it got added; since it would be so useless, it would be one of those tanks that get played just for the fun of playing it. There are plenty of people like that. Who knows; maybe Darkflow would do some (inaccurate) balancing and allow the Pershing to pen the lower glacis plate. The Jagdtiger would also probably be better balanced as an event vehicle, not a tech tree vehicle. This way not every yahoo who plays Enlisted would have a 72-ton refrigerator on tracks.
Do I think that it should be added to the game? I don’t know. Maybe, maybe not. It depends on how, when, and how they balance it. Do I think this is worth the semi-heated thread that’s just occured? No, I don’t. I’m not blaming you for this, I’m just stating that it seems like a thread that was supposed to be fun and would give opinions on a tank turned into a mini-war by all parties.
I’m not trying to start an argument here, I just wanted to give my opinion on a few of the points you made. HTH

blow off the track, then blow off the cannon barrel, congratulations the tank is now basically useless and you’re free to take pot shots into the MG port to kill it from the front

If american T34 T95 or IS-3, ISU-152 Is added this migth work but i think we can’t do this since Japan exist and i think the Ho-ri production Will not be enough for any of the american tanks i think
They did not see combat in WW2, the Maus and a Series-E should come as a Counterpart in case they are included
Here… So if any of these tanks menntioned participated on ww2 the % of being added into the Game are tecnically 1% posibilities 99% faith, worst can happen is if DF decides to add more CAS to US and URRS or still killing whats left from GE planes instead of fixing the absurd stats of the
