As the title says, is it worth saving up or spending now?
According to this New currency - News - Enlisted, buying weapons will be more expensive but upgrading will be cheaper.

I recently heard that someone claimed the upgrading actually to be even more expensive even though they mentioned it to be cheaper…
Upgrading tanks/planes is cheaper now before merge.
Equipment cost in logistics is the same, apart from pistols which go up to 10x compared to Pacific/Stalingrad prices.
Selling soliders will give more after merge, apart from ones that have 5 stars. You may consider cleansing them if they have not ideal stats. It’s also way better to buy soldiers now.

Let me double check weapon upgrade prices but i think it will be cheaper after merge.
E: Upgrading weapon cost after merger (top tier, with 40%discount) 901 + 3601 + 5490. Compared to 69 bronzes now it will be cheaper after merge

It’s x3 the Pacific/Stalingrad prices and the same as the rest of the campaigns, based on the conversion rates and comparable weapons (3 star pistols costing the same as a 6 star primary, both costing 5000 silver in the merge). It’s the new income rate which seems to be lower.
You can get best pistolis, like browning hi-power and mauser c-96 for 1 silver in Pacific and Stalingrad.
They had premium passes and pistols are cheaper there, even without buying it.
On other campaigns they cost 3 silver, so yeah 3x the cost, but You can get them 10x cheaper in 2 campaigns.
Maybe You meant weapons?
I acknowledged what pistols cost in Stalingrad and the Pacific. I said that they are not ten times more expensive, they are consistent with the pricing in every campaign other than Stalingrad and the Pacific. You can dislike that, but don’t try to say it’s something that it’s not.

You’re conflating the conversion rate with post-merge value. 3 star pistols cost the same as a 6 star primary weapons. That’s true now and on the dev server.
I just said it’s 90% off now if You buy it in Pacific/Stalingrad.
If You leave your orders to be converted, it’s gonna cost 10 times more. Just like weapons are 3x more expensive.
Why are we still talking about this?

And I just said it’s equivalent with every other campaign. I’m not sure what you’re not understanding. You can be displeased with it, but it’s consistent. The lower prices in Stalingrad and the Pacific were an experiment, and they’ve resolved to revert their pistol prices.

Right now, before merge, top pistols are 3x cheaper on Pacific/Stalingrad.

Yaah, but right now those 6star weapons cost 3 silvers (sometimes 1, like gewehr43).
Pistols are comparable on campaigns other than Pacific and Stalingrad.

I don’t know how much more simply I can say that 3 star pistols cost the same as 6 star primaries now and they still cost the same as 6 star primaries in the merge. You’re conflating what they are giving you with conversion with the new silver value.
In Normandy, Berlin, Moscow and Tunisia, yes.
In Pacific and Stalingrad, pistols are NOW 3x cheaper than in campaigns above.
So after merge, compared to todays prices in these two campaigns, pistols will be 10 times more expensive.
And weapons will be overall around 3x more expensive.
Thats what this post is about, what to buy/upgrade before merge.

I don’t know why you keep responding to me with “but Pacific and Stalingrad” after I’ve said it was an experiment and they have clearly elected to return to the price model on previous campaigns. You can dislike that, but I don’t know why you’re obfuscating the end result and acting like you’re confused by the decision.
