Are you being purposefully obtuse? Weapons which are 6 stars in a specific campaign cost 3 silver in that campaign.
That’s what they’re offering you in conversion, not the new standard of price. Three star pistols cost 3 silver. 6 star primary weapons cost 3 silver. After the merge 3 star pistols will cost 5000 silver. 6 star primary weapons will cost 5000 silver.

Although there are exceptions, for example weapons that are 1 star in some campaigns(Like the M1 Garand/Gewehr 43/MP 3008) but in the merge are 3 stars, it’s better to upgrade these now.

Good point…I didnt take into consideration that all assaulter IVS regardless of lvl will “become” 5 star if you have lvled the squad (Post merge). I know 5 star sells for 2.8 silver card equivalent.
so get all the troops you need, then invest the remainder into Assaulter. IVs…I wont be doing this till the final hour though…seems unlikely to get through to live.
Sale price varies by what their actual achieved level is as well. But even at level zero it’s worth more than selling other soldiers after the merge.
