Will M2 Carbines be Removed on Merge on Pacific?

image

Users on Discord mentioned this, i myself have already spend and wasted many silver orders for 40 M2 Carbines. Will these be taken away or removed when Merge happen?

As in no longer being able to be used against Japanese?

I already have full stack of m2s on Normandy so i don’t need any extra ones. Really hope this is not the case

Please don’t screw over the playerbase anymore more than this, and Pacific Players on US is literally getting stomped each match. Its not fun at all playing US

TLDR - Mod and Helper on Discord explained Pacific M2 Carbines can no longer be used in the future when Merge happen. This will screw all Pacific US players

We already grinded it on Normandy and have enough stocks. so all that grind on Pacific Allies is pointless? Grinding Pacific Allies is one of the if not the most painful campaign, its always 2-4 players vs full real players of japanese.

I myself bought 40 of these for Pacific allies, when i already have over 30 on Normandy, yet the Devs decides to keep punishing the players more? and take away our things and makes everything worst?

nah, they will not remove the m2 carbine from the grind.

when the merge will come, you will get to use it, but not against japanese forces as they do not have similar choices.

it has been made for balance.

( though, it’s ironic since the carbine m2 was used primarely in the pacific. but oh well )

Dude, japanese at the release get a low BR and cant find player using m2 carabine, japanese endgame equipment is equal to commowealth/US early-mid game, everything past the sherman is off-limits

These are scummy and stealth changes that the Devs added. They just keep screwing the playerbase more and more.

I wouldn’t invest anything into Pacific had i known this, yet of course, they wouldn’t let the public know unless it was too late

Im one of the ppl that bought these with Gold as well. And due to Devs practice ofc we wont be compensated

I dont need the extra ones, i already have them back on Normandy. I have way enough on Normandy for full squads

this… has nothing to do with balance changes?

she is saying to you that if you grinded the m2 in the normandy campaign, it will be kinda pointless.

but if you haven’t, then it’s a good weapon.

Doing these kind of changes is just fked up, why even add it on the Campaign tree for Pacific Allies if thats the case?

This isn’t okay bud. And they never said they will remove M2 Carbines later

Im already maxed on Normandy, ofc i would be angry

I saw the post, but it never mention anything about them removing m2 carbines no?

so Japanese gets to use type 4 rifles while allies literally has nothing?

that’s why the merge will adjust and try to balance things evenly ( on paper ).

You need understand that the BR rule dont allow high-end gun fight aganaist bolt-action, M2 dont get removed it dont show on Pacific map if japanese dont get a counter in their tech tree

Well im done for now. ofc you will all defend Gaijin, though when it happen im sure other will riot, like they do now with Stalingrad

They are the ones at fault, not the players. they are the ones who added it onto the campaign tree!!!

Devs is just full of lies and just keep making stealth changes without anyone asking.

and it takes 32 levels to grind the same crap from Normandy when it was copy pasted.

and M18 HellCat is just as useless as ever .

Let me use “ez win” button

@Euthymia07 can you elaborate?

bro…

how do you struggle with simple sentences?

what part don’t you understand of the weapon not facing the japanese forces because they don’t have anything that the japanes have of similar? therefore it has been " moved " rather than removed because of br balances?

if i can’t explain it, i’m sure she will @Euthymia07

ah yes, content that you bought and have been mislead is on par on a weapon being balanced against the opposition ( because a lack there of ).

what a great logic.

I repost that OP probably ask for

After the merge, you will have a unified weapon pool so you will have extra weapon anyway.

What a waste. Good thing I didn’t spend my time to get it.

The M2 carbine was used on Okinawa

Anyway, I don’t agree with this battle rating system. The faction progression overhaul is great. I’m sure they will change and work on it as time goes on
