I can see that as a premium squad…
alright guys let keep it on the topic or the mods gonna lock our thread
finally, historical accurate game for me
The roman daga was better for cqc, was a less-skilfull weapon than the katana
One ww2 campaign I would like to see is the Italian campaign. It is one of the lesser shown campaigns of ww2 but was just as bloody as the rest.
or finland vs soviets called winter war would be nice too another battle of moscow-like
yes, you cant use katana before obtaining certain level of bullshido
In warthunder in an italian map there is the city were i lived for a bit wen i was kid
Whats Italy like? Is it nice?
Cool fact though.
Yep, katana is a long sword it require skill for avoid open to much your arms wen you attack and make yourself voulnerable to enemy counter, daga is a short sword can be used with one hand an dont requires move too much your arms is better for the job
looool no. . Its all exactly opposite to what you have said on so many levels (if we talking about just useing sword, nothing addicionall).
I asure you that you will be more open with short blade. And you need the same skill or even bigger when useing short blade bc there is less space and time for fixing mistakes
attack in proper way? Dont overswing it and be sure that you can always get back to parry posytion. Also you can controll enemy balde during your offesive actions.
lengh is everything. longer blade=longer distance=more time for parry
why the f*ck you think that if you have shorter blade you will move less? and how haveing two handed sword requires you to move much your arms? Its lengh make it that small movement on the one side of ,stick" end with much bigger movement on the ther side. Longer the ,stick" is, bigger diffrence it will be. You will be moving less, if you want to in moust of fencing actions in comparison to useing shorter blade.
And so much more, but I dont study fencing from english sorces so cant explain it without my native language.
Iam not talking here about useing shields, dont know maybe you did. Then its fight changer. And there are ways to have good protection when useing both hands (if we talking about medieval Japan, it could be sode) esspecially that most of longswords could be used in one hand also (were not heavy and clunky at all) , so shield was ussually an option.
I wonder if devs would be able to make AI stand straight in a line for this.
in the musket style straight line war the AI would 360 nonscope each other
More likely they would stare into the void awaiting their death.
Not in gaming.
In gaming:
shorter=faster=spam LMB=win
