I thought about making this a suggestion but honestly I doubt any action will follow so here we are.
As we all know the Soviet cosmetic body armour that gives 10% resistance is a topic that many people like to mention when asking for German damage buffs.
However, the problem with such suggestions is that
This only puts Germany and the SU in balance in weapon damage (Soviets still tanks 10% more of any other kind of damage, aka are still better)
Even if all Soviet teams wore full armour, buffing Germany until it is with balance with them is unfair. This is becasue the poor Americans will be facing the exact same buffed German weapons with no justification.
Therefore, to prevent power creeps and (at least to me) unjustified arguments, I would suggest advocating for deleting/removing the 10% resistance from Soviet body armour that can be bought for gold / appearance orders. Not only will this be actual balance (adressing point 1) but also keep our US mains safe from suddenly buffed German super-soldiers.
You can agree or not, but I believe this is a smarter way to adress this probmlem. I remember James saying that the fractions are in balance right now and no suggestions on the topic will be fowarded, but I hope that if enough feedback is made to delete the body armour then it will be passed on.

What poor americans? The t20 already does enough damage to bypass body armor up close if they saw it…so if the fg 42 got the same treatment, how does that = poor USA?..changes nothing for the T-20
thats what you call a faulty premise… because for this to be True, US would have to be = to Germany…
If your intention is to convince anyone, you might need to be more specific about why…I assume this is in response to the FG 42 requests…and clearly the T-20 is not equal to the FG 42
so what…its in the past. everyone has gotten the short end at some point in time…EVERYONE
If all requests to buff all german weapons ( I have seen this for the MP-40, FG, armaguerra etc) hinge on soviet body armour, then they should ask for the deletion of body armour, not for german damag buffs. Americans do not have body armour, therefore using it as a justification for buffing German weapons that will fight americans is wrong.
Whenever the stupid body armour is mentioned people straight want to remove, change it as equipment item or add body armour for other nations as well (which already exists ingame (Japan Premium) or in files).
So dunno what you are even on right now.

T20 bypasses body armour and US SMGs already do the highest damage across all SMG platforms (afaik) so I guess it could be worse.
Well, this is my option:
remove body armor effect
give soviet t44 100 and 20 round avs and avt
and we can buff fg42 II dispersion little, but not by much, the FG42 currently has very low recoil and very high RoF
Im literally saying that just buffing german guns does not fix the body armour (soviets still tank 10% more of any other damage) and that its weakening the US even though they dont have body armour. Deleting the 10% is literally easier, more effective and saves us the trouble of rebalancing everything else.
Because the T20 is already strong enough to the point even (theoretical) body armour wouldnt change much and a stronger FG42/II therefore wouldnt kill US mains. Even if they would deal same damage T20 still has bayonet that reduces recoil and better accuracy.
