Yeah, they seem to have learned from their mistakes in Stalingrad where they pumped out all the good stuff right away and now have nothing they can add. Pacific seems to be completely in the opposite direction, where they they start incredibly slow and at the rate they are releasing tanks, they might even be able to get to 50 levels if they do things smart.
I just wish people would stop with this historical accuracy BS!!
SO THEY’VE PUT A PROTOTYPE IN THE GAME, SO WHAT??? Early and late war, what? The game isn’t a lecture, you know?
Use an encyclopedia to jack off to your historically and time appropriate war paraphernalia and leave the rest of us to enjoy the game.
If you dont care about hostorical accuracy go and fuck right off to BF5 and COD vanguard
You are so concerned about history, why not try Red Orchestra 2 or HellLetLoose?
As far as I know, this game is not an absolute “hard core game”, it is just a short TTK soft core game. Why do you want to pursue “hard core” in a soft core game?
This game would be lucky if it had more than 50% historical accuracy per campaign. And its been that way ever since I started playing it.
You either accept it for what it is, or find something else to play in its stead.
It has historically accurate weapons for the most part, and almost historically accurate tanks. But beyond that the force dispersion and way we can equip things is right out the door.
The Devs make decisions on what is best for gameplay. Not what happened in history.
That has existed for so long now I dont see why suddenly the pacific has people railing at the world because of it.
Playing with historical gear only is a lot better for gameplay
There was an event by Quadro, for historical battles
No stupid FG spam, Jumbos and so on
It was genuinetely fun and balanced.
And no the campaigns were mostly historically accurate in terms of weaponry
Not like in pacific where a lot of the weapons are just fantasy and arent even good for gameplay
Its only a lot better for gameplay for you and those that enjoy it.
You cannot make broad sweeping comments for the gaming community based on only what you want/like.
If you enjoy that, then play in customs, that is what it is there for.
The primary arguments I see only reflect people with a desire to change something for their liking and not on a whole what is needed to keep the game engaging, addictive, and moving forward.
We have FG42s, 42IIs , M2’s, Drum Tommy’s, Mod39s, ZH29, MKB snipers and non, Kiralys for everyone, Gerat03, AK44s, Stg45m, Tiger P, ect ect that can be put en mass. And even guns that should be in a different class VG1-5. That is the trend with this game from the beginning (since I’ve played). I cannot fathom why suddenly now its a problem., suddenly they’ve gone too far.
If you did historically accurate for Japan in Pacific, right to the letter. No one would want to play them. And that would waste all the Devs time.
They were as Bass Ackwards in WW2 as it got with industrial weapon production and only won initially based on ruthless advance, idiotic Allied commanders, and initial Air and Naval Superiority.
Otherwise their line infantry were not equipped to handle the vast amount of firepower the Common GI and Allied solider could bring.
