Why Ofenrohr 43 for Japan is a mistake

Okay, sounds good for the Allies although there are some who wouldn’t like to play with something British…heheh

ahahah they would not like to be part of the British empire either and being a colony but what can you do about it start a revolution  But we can give them the US version from the video above

idk why you are so hard on devs. they needed 5 months to model japanese panzershreck after developing US panzershreck for 2+ years.

do you know how much time they would need to make something from scratch? at least 5 years with current game dev progress.

Ofenrohr for Japan is pure heresy. It’s probably even worse than soldier wearing samurai armor.

They no longer care about anything, simply taking the easiest path. It’s really sad.

The next major update after this one, they will surely give Japanese StG44. So they can finally do the assault engineer event for US/japs.

Yeah really there is so many good options for Japan I dont need all this German stuff in my Japanese TT… Now we have same anti tank weapon in 3 Tech trees and same plane after the jets come in 3 TT what diversity do we have for now im gonna enjoy my Ki-61 for a while and then im moving to BR III and BR II forever… xD My last game today was with you hah xD

Japan can have BR III type 96 with shield assault engineer.

I would need to see better proof than random mashed up outfit and Chinese soldier wearing samurai armor as trophy.

Premium squad when? I’m still waiting Devs!

I’m sorry, but this is not enough.
Japan also inevitably needs AT weapons equal to Ofenrohr.
US has such an alternative (M9A1 with T59 Rocket)
But don’t have it in Japan.
This can never correspond to Ofenrohr,
The reason is low projectile speed.
Penetration is not everything.
We need a speed that can reach 300 to 500 meters.

GE and US, which have Ofenrohr, are really benefiting from this.
Also, Soviet also has AT problem, and they need it.

This is the biggest impact on the balance of the game, and actually Ofenrohr is huge enough to take over 60% of the total Tank Destroy stake. (more than tank and plane)

And for what? Even current Japanese AT launchers were able to destroy literally every US/British tanks through their front plates.

…with exception to just 2.

So I really don’t see this desperate need for high penetration AT launcher.
Especially since Japs are the only faction with unique lunge mine that has penetration value of 180.

Addition of Ofenrohr was completely unnecessary. Literally just hand holding very bad players at the expense of immersion.

No, That need it.
There’s nothing like this to deal with the Gray zone’s tanks 150-200m away.
It’s absolutely impossible to kill, it’s very inefficient to kill, and it’s better to take a tank and a plane to do it.
But neither of these can eventually be as universal and immediate as the infantry’s AT.

This is nothing short of saying that only the US and GE benefit and that Soviet and JP should sacrifice.
This game is PVP Multiplay Game not Single Game.
Balance is paramount.

Japanese guerillas can equip lunge mines as well. :man_shrugging: But the problem is that no one wants to waste time with that.

I really don’t see how Soviets and Germans are related to balance of Japanese. Those factions are not fighting Japanese.

And US doesn’t have some kind of underwhelming advantage by having ofenrohr (btw, adding ofenrohr to US was completely unnecessary as well, especially once penetration values of bazookas were finally corrected).

I stand by my words:

dont quite understand what the Sacrifice of Soviets and benefit of Germany has to do with it.

  • Soviets already have the Faust 100 which has the most Penetration
  • Germans Dont Face Japan

Even in the case of the Soviet Union, problems arise when dealing with GE.
Panzerfaust 100 isn’t bad, but it’s not as good as Ofenrohr, and only one-sided exchanges happen on some maps.

Sorry but US absolutely needed something like Ofenrohr as well. (Honestly needed M9A1 with T59 Rocket, not Ofenrohr.)
Because starting with Tiger 2H, the balance of the tank started to fail.
That’s why Ofenrohr has been added to the US as well.
127mm is only good for BR3 but not BR5.

It is also inefficient to use Partisan.
That’s why it’s not recommended to use it.
This is because even if you use it to benefit, it’s too late to benefit from it.
The average playtime on BR5 is very short.
This is because tickets are cut faster than other places.
This is because of too much firepower.

if only Dark-Gaijin wouldn’t be so lazy and actually look at our feedback

Because Panzerfuast 100 is not enough.
Although it has excellent penetration.
Low projectile speed holds back.
Can’t hold a Tank over 150m as easily as Ofenrohr.
In some maps, this is why one-side exchanges occur.

Well in that case there is no point in adding heavy tanks to the game when their armour doesn’t really play any role anyway. :man_shrugging:

In the end it will come down to playing howitzer tanks with rapid fire ratw on all BRs as meta. Since playing a heavy tank won’t realistically have any advantage.
