Why nobody use japanese tanks?

Ke ni and ka mi are decent for pacific. Killed tons of m13 and soldier with them. Faster, faster reload, can deal with aimed surfaces and easily placed on rock to ambush enemy from unwaited position, nearly sniper accuracy guns, you can literally snipe enemy with guns with those tanks. But everybdy just sh**ng on them without playing with them much

Because they kind of suck.

The M13 shreds there crew in heart beat, with it’s over modeled 50 call’s.

It is true u can kill the M13 if you can kill the gunner fast enough, but the M13 absorbs a F-ton of hits before it goes boom, and if you don’t kill the gunner in the M13 before he locks onto you he will kill your gunner fast, and the tank soon after.

The Japanese MG’s in there tanks, that have them, a slow firing and suffer from the same long reload times all tanks do.

The HE effect from the Japanese tanks that have HE is as bad as any of the other 37 mm HE rounds, you basically need to tag the guy, preferable in the head, with them to kill infantry.

I have spent some time in them, and I do find the effective up to a point but there frustrating to use, and I am one of the few players that does not rush to death in armor in this game.

I would rather fly than use a tank because tanks die far to easily no mater what campaign your in.

Unfortunately I am now feeling that way about planes, because of the sudden ubiquitous presence of Lazer accurate AA guns.

Thats another weird point.
Planes are usefull but also the are underused by both sides in pacific.

Lol, stop spreading false information, Japanese tank mg have the fastest reload speed.

Wrong!

I started maining planes in Pacific since a few days ago. They are SURPRISINGLY good.

Since most vehicles you’ll see on the ground are m13, m13 and more m13 because of how cancer it is, most of the time they are manned by noobs…

Who forget they don’t drive a tank, but in fact a spaa… THEY IGNORE THE SKIES!

I’m having a field day with the Japanese second bomber, targeting those.

Jap tanks suck, thought. M13 can AMMO RACK ALL of them in mere seconds

I have already fully upgraded planes and i know. Im talking about majority not you. But i got bored of planes.

Ah, yeah…

To those not used with flying, pacific might be a tad harder. It’s funny how many ppl don’t even know how to take off from the carrier…

Shoot the engine block once and the M13 will be on fire. I thought it was op until I used the M13, it only have x1.4 power scope.

I always do this…

… but it leaves ample time for the m13 to zero on my paper tank and ammo rack it with a few shots.

So I target the gunner first, then the engine block…

Then the new gunner ammo rack my paper thin tank.

I just decided to forget Japanese tanks altogether and use their absolutely fantastic AT rifle (canon? Thing is huge) instead.

Only exception: amphibious tank premium. This boat can endure m13, and is funny to use while in water.

Edit: Jap spaa also have very low magnification scope…

I just bought premium chi ha yesterday, it’s pretty decent. Better than I expected honestly.

But tanks in pacific overall aren’t good or meta. Even the first Japanese AT gun is just beast against all allied tanks.

In fact, the M13 did not do its job well, the directional plane was slow, the elevation was limited, the gunner’s face was glued to the sights so he could not look up to see where the plane was coming from, and the .50 overheated quickly. It did much better at shredding infantry and Japanese tanks instead, and if I need to shoot Japanese aircraft I’d rather have the German-made anti-aircraft guns that the engineers took out of the 4th dimension (even using the BAR1918A2 for anti-aircraft is more efficient than the M13, it seems that infantry weapons do more damage to aircraft structures, and more than once I broke the tail of a Japanese aircraft with less than one magazine)

I think most people are still using Ta Se and Ha Go, I didn’t see much complaint on Ke ni and Ka mi.

and smallest magazines… never checked, but ammo to reload ratio is probably worst out of all tanks… 20 bullets and then you need to reload… not to mention you need to switch to MG…

this… tanks have ammo racks, SPAA dont. tanks need to kill crew one by one with their main gun, while SPAA just shreds whole tank with their MG

Yeah the planes aren’t as horrible as people make them out to be in the Pacific, so I think the fact they are so underused might literally just come down to people not knowing how to takeoff lol

I am to traumatized by all the slow tank reload speed to see it any other way.

Try the Ki 61, it’s 20 mm will kill the M 13 from above in a short burst.

And your right they don’t look up much, but if they do the Uber 50’s will deal death pretty fast.

Japanese tank as a mobile protected machine gun position perform really well actually. You also have a gun just in case you see some annoying armor ready to ruin your fun

The worst tank Mg will be the Italian MG with 24 round but 8s of reload. Besides that, other Mg like Mg34 have fast overheat, Japanese Mg never overheat because it will use all the round in magazine before overheat. So Japanese Mg can fire consistently without worry about overheat.

Depends on which tank you use, OP are talking about Ke ni and Ka mi with coaxial Mg.

Ye I have it too. It’s “okay”

But pacific isn’t much of a tank/plane campaign.

SPAA has ammo racks, but they are all in obnoxious places to hit with a tank, and the M13 also only carries half ammo load so half the ammo isn’t modeled in the damage model.
