Limiting unsupported shoulder fire to certain LMGs will definitely make the BAR less trash, but it’ll also make the Madsen more trash.
Isn’t Madsen also capable of hip fire?

There’s videos of string bean ian from forgotten weapons running and gunning with it in a 2-gun match. If that dude can do it, a farm hand from Siberia could.
Late war German tanks had good survivability and breakdowns were only present on Panther tanks

Mortality rates for crew were lowest for American tanks. They also had a much better availability rate because of how easy they were to repair, despite braking down as often as a Pz4.
Tiger, Tiger 2, Jagdtiger, Jagdpanther and Ferdinand also suffered from more breakdowns compared to the average tank, alongside the Panther. They also had horrible fuel efficiency.
Only advantages the German tanks had were ergonomics, sights and stats on paper.
The armor on even tiger 2s wasn’t that good in practice due to bad welds and how easy they were to surround with how slow they were.

Yeah, I meant getting rid of standing shoulder fire without a bipod.
My grandfather who was a combat engineer attached to the 101st airborne infantry watched a guy try to shift an M1919 by the barrel after a lul in a firefight with Chinese forces and it did not go well for him lul.

Tiger 2 was garbage
It could crack in 5 pieces when hit by an ISU-152
I love Tiger 1 much more and I think it was a more practical tank then the king tiger

I guess it may be changed to “hip” fire mentioned in the shared videos. At least for the heavier LMGs.

I haven’t found it on their FB sadly, shame.
So I’m thinking limit the current aiming system to the BAR, FG-42, ZB-26, Bren, and maybe the Chauchat. Can’t remember what that Italian LMG in Normandy is to look it up.
The DP 27 is odd because it looks like it has the grips for it, but it also looks waaaay too front-heavy to actually lift.

Mod 30 definitely doesn’t look holdable with the complete lack of insulation.
for 30 enlisted gold you can buy asbestos machine gunner gloves allowing your gunners to hip fire for 10 battles
