I’ve just unlocked this gun and seriously, why nobody requested nerf? Or at least I don’t remember reading such a request.
This gun is ment to be LMG but behaves like assault rifle. What is going on?

I don´t honestly think that MG-13 is that strong, but sure it is upgrade from base LMG, and soviets should get such upgrade too to replace Madsens.
You still need to fire very short bursts in order to not waste your ammo when standing, so I´m not sure if “assault rifle” is accurate description.
But it might also be just me lacking enough experience with all LMGs we have.
I wouldn´t mind to see it slightly nerfed but I don´t really see a reason for it.

iirc the polls said not enough people had experience with it to make any judgement.
Like I said yesterday, now that I actually tried one, they’re ridiculously OP. They’re just rare enough (for now) that most don’t realize that.

In my opinion it is. I don’t remember last time I saw LMG with so low recoil and high RPM at the same time.
That is possible as well, I´m using only two gunners and seeing them as enemy when getting thrown against them as soviets is fairly rare and easy to deal with as any other gunner. But if we could see them in bigger numbers, perhaps it would show.
Russians are getting DP27 in literal days which is more than double the magazine capacity of the MG13 and nearly the same ROF. 
Flipping the balance issue into favoring the Russians solves a grand total of 0 issues.

I think they are trying to make the combat as quick as possible because that’s how it is in the big games like call of duty and Battlefield.
My issue with the MG 13 is that, at least with the one I picked up, there was no recoil even standing, it was like shooting an SMG.

I agree, irl MG-13 is heavy and bulky, ZB-26 is supposed to be a better gun
The reason why nobody complained is probably because playerbase used to be devided into German mains and Russian mains so German mains didn’t know how awful Madsen was
For example: I remember players complaining how PPK was overpowered because they never played allies and never saw that their MP-41 shredds squads

PPD used to be so horrible, German mains weren’t used to getting killed by SMG’s.

I think it has been nerfed enough. The last two updates increased it’s recoil considerably. You can’t fire it full auto while standing anymore. The recoil is comparable to the DPs in alpha but the small magazine requires you to be extra careful while coming up against a full squad.
I haven’t played a match without a MG-13 after unlocking it. I have a whole squad of it armed with 2 medkits and atleast 3 grenades for every man. It was over performing for sure at the start. The subsequent tweaks has made it much fairer for the Allies. The madsen too has become better with slight tweaks. MG-13 still kicks ass tho. Easily my favorite weapon in-game.
With the rise of laser PPDs, MG-13 is perhaps the only counter at extreme close range combat for the Axis, which unsurprisingly happens 90% of the time. It’s large size makes it difficult to aim at close ranges but it can kill in 2 hits. Making it easy enough for the soviet forces to counter.
What it needs is a buff or the introduction of something better once DP-27 gets added. It should remain as it is until we know what the balance in OBT is like.

No, certainly not. In my opinion it’s already too good.
LMGs should be fired from bipod or in short bursts. With MG13 you can spray while standing and still kill at mid range with relative ease.

It cannot counter a gun that performs similarly but with double the magazine size. It’s like the current PPD drum.
That’s pretty much the only way to use it since the last major update(god knows if there has been shadow nerfs). I played a game now just to be sure.
