Why is the T34-85 so much better than the PzIV?

Yes, you can, but have to be lucky enough before he one-shot or two-shot you through the turret

It’s a thing with sloped armor.
The Panzer II used to eat 45mm AP before its armor was nerfed.

I posted a report at the Warthunder forum. I used the format they asked for and included the source citation, downto page and paragraph. It was a waste of time, as expected.

After waiting some days for approval of my posting by an admin, it was suddenly deleted without any notice or message.

Well, I will handle Enlisted and Warthunder as the arcade sims they are, no matter what kind of “real life realistic” they claim.

I can’t say I’ve had that happen before myself, but I’m sorry to hear such.

For the Fall of Berlin, the J is more appropriate than the H, as by this stage of the war the Germans were running out of auxiliary electrical generators, which were needed to power the electric motor driven turret traverse mechanisms. According to Jentz and Doyle the shortages started as early as May 1944, so I don’t have an issue with the Devs implementing the PzIVJ per se.

What is missing on the PzIV J as well as the Panther(s) in the Fall of Berlin is the Nahverteidigungswaffe - or close in defence grenade launcher mounted under armour in the turret to defend the tank from infantry trying to place contact mines or molotov the vehicle. This feature was never included in War Thunder because it was redundant, but it should be considered for Enlisted given the infantry centric game perspective.
