Why i am against PPSh nerf

I mean they do feel good? Even post “nerf” the PPSh is great fun to use.

Like I get your idea, however thats a hell of a lot of work for devs that struggle already.

I agree. I think dispersion should have never been the model to begin with, and an overhaul to that system is what Enlisted needs more than anything else.

But the devs take over a year to “fix” ONE gun. Asking them to overhaul the entire recoil system and/or change all other guns feels like a bridge too far.

I’m calling out the RD-44 for being the only LMG (other than Vickers) that does not get penalized for moving and shooting while ADS. All other LMGs get a dispersion movement penalty. It’s why they turn into shotguns if you move at all.

I’m saying to add the feature the RD-44 has to ALL LMGs and not just two. Balance it by increasing LMG recoil if needed.

It already happened that the developers didn’t say that they were changing it, but they changed it.

Also this game is a F2P shooter with bots, you really don’t HAVE to sweat 24/7.

It’s really not E-Sports International MLG Major.

You can take whataver loadout you want, at any BR, and still win / top the leaderboard.

I’ve been playing since 2020 test and 2021 OBT launch and never have I ever done “3x9 through cuirasses”.

Why change

I mean I have. I play games like Arma where guns have accurate ballistics. After playing those games, the guns in Enlisted feel like dogwater. In Arma, I have to manage recoil, otherwise I don’t hit thing. But if I keep my gun on target (within range to account for movement), then I will hit. I want the same in Enlisted.

The biggest concern I see coming from my proposed change would be the interaction with bots as they don’t have recoil so if they “lock” onto a player, they would always hit.

15.3 is enough to knock down a soldier with a body armor one shot, especially since you can’t hit every shot on the armor, and avt 20 has worse recoil control, which is a fatal flaw.

hyde 1944 is the worst.

RD44 is just an assault rifle with a 100 round drum and poorer recoil control.

MG42100 is the strongest machine gun in this game, with 13.2 damage/high firing rate/decent recoil control, RD44 can never match.

If I were to say, RD44 < soviet event 100 round Thomson. Thomsons does not have move spped penalty and event sqaud has 5 of them, while a maximum of 3 RD44s per mg sqaud.

There are datamining tools that detect any changes in any “out of view” parameters. So, PPSh really is unchanged

I see your point, but just because the devs struggle to do basic things, does not mean I am going to hold them to lower standards. Realistically this stuff is all in a database and just requires tweaking numbers. Set all weapons dispersion to something between 0-0.1, then do a month long event where weapons have the updated stats and use that to gather playtest data and adjust weapons recoil/damage as needed.

no, it’s a formula
You need to divide the rate of fire by 60 (1150 by 60=19.1)
And then divide the number of bullets to kill a person by this number (3 by 19.1 equals 0.157)

If these were the only things that mattered it would actually be the mg81 that is bestestestestest of all.
Ironicly I dont even remember when I saw someone use it last time.
