Why do we need BR6 in the game?

Hey everyone,

After merge one thing that’s been increasingly noticeable is how the current Battle Rating system is starting to feel strained—especially in the upper mid-tiers. We’re seeing more and more cases of ‘‘power creep’’ where late-war equipment is making a lot of weapons/vehicles useless and abandoned.

The BR5 compression is real, and it’s creating frustrating gameplay loops where usually last choices just dominate everything else, leaving little room for diversity thats why I think some of the current BR5 weapons and vehicles deserve for their power to be moved to BR6.

Why We Need BR 6:

1.Better Matchmaking Balance
Introducing BR 6 would give the devs room to more accurately place certain units that are clearly too powerful for 5, this would smooth out matchups and give everyone a more even playing field.
2.Reduce Power Creep.The creep is obvious when you have things like 10 round semi autos going against select fire rifles most of the time since BR4 is always uptiered or tanks like Jumbo facing King tiger or newly added Jagdpanther.
3.Smoother Progression
Right now, there’s a harsh jump in power between BR4 and 5. Adding BR 6 can help bridge the gap and make progression feel more natural, giving players a better sense of advancement and a fairer fight at each step.
4.BR4 a battle rating like any other
Due to those changes BR4 would be more used and enjoyed by grinding and veteran players.

BR 6 wouldn’t just be another number—it would be a key adjustment that could restore balance, reduce frustration, and improve the overall gameplay experience for both new and veteran players.

And lastly i will explain what should be moved from br5 to br6:
USSR: AVT-40 20, Fedorov Avtomat, AS-44 model 4 and 5, RD 44, IS2 1944, SU-9
USA: T20 and T20E1, Hyde M1944, T26E1-1, Meteor F Mk.3, F-80A-5,
GERMANY: FG42 II,Sniper StG 44, StG 44, MG 42 100, MG 81, Bfw. Jagdpanther G1 and its premium version, Tiger II (H), Me 262 A-1a/jabo, Me 262 A-1/U4, StG 44 (S)
JAPAN*: Type Hei Automatic rifle, Type 100 MG, Ho-Ri Production and Prototype, Kikka

*as long as Japanise tech tree looks like it looks now its impossible to implement those changes.

There’s no point in adding more BRs as long as we don’t have ±0 BR MM

The opposite is true, it’s only counterproductive.

missed the point that 75% of Br 5 weapons isnt used.

Majority of them can be rebalanced and/or lowered.

It’s not like BR4/5 is overbloated just like BR2. There’s no need to dilute and reduce equipment variety of high BRs.

Adding yet another BR would only cripple down the MM.

BR 5 is indeed overbloated in many aspects.
You think 4 more ques would effect a 300k playerbase ?

Good joke xD

Compared to low BRs, it’s nothing.

There’s like 40+ BR2 smgs across all factions, just Germany itself has ±20 BR2 smgs (including event/premium).

If anything, BR2 needs to reduce the amount of equipment. Not BR5.

And certainly not by adding another BR. On the contrary, the way to go should be to rebalance and redistribution of the equipment among the other BRs.

So you’re telling me 160,000 people play directly through the Enlisted client? I find those numbers hard to believe. I understand most play through the Enlisted client as opposed to through Steam, but I still find it hard to believe there’s more than 30,000 PC players combined.

Most of them play only around 2/3 games per day thats why the number is somewhat low on steam as it also isnt a major laucher, The data was collected from Replays and its very much true

Can you show me then? I’ve never heard of Enlisted openly sharing it’s statistics.

Horrible take is to push for totally unnecessary BR6 that would have close to zero variety in equipment. But okay.

adding br 6 would help moving up everything and would make balancing easier for low br smgs that are just not strong enough atm but would be fine at br 3 if we had br 6 (or other types of guns but yk were im going with this)

You can already do that without adding more BRs. Two factions don’t even have tech tree rifles in BR4, and yet you act like there’s a need for adding another high BR because high BRs are supposedly overbloated (which is total nonsense).
