Why do the germans not get 100 round MG's while everyone else gets it + high tier MG grievances

for a long time now, the western allies and soviets have had 100 round MGs (M1919a6,RD-44,Beltfed DP,ect.) and the germans do not have have such a weapon, the maximum capacity being 75,which is still better than 50 rounds, but uncomparable to 100 rounds, and the only 2 guns having this are the MG34 patronentrommel and the MG 15.the MG 34 is just not as good as the MG42,with most of its stats being similar but the 42 having a much better ROF at 990,while recoil is not too bad, especially with perks, and the patronentrommel magazine only gives 25 more rounds than the normal ones, and costs 3 gold orders instead of the 2 for an MG 42.the MG 15 is just an MG42 on pervitin, the ROF is 1320 RPM with 23 vertical recoil instead of the MG 42’s 15,it is still hard to control with recoil reduction, and it does the same damage. The high capacity allied MGs are better than these though, because excessive ROF does not mean better gun though, they still have high damage but low recoil.I get having asymmetrical balancing, but is it too much to ask for a belt fed MG34 or Mg42?

Somewhere in the near future so many of our brothers will die in end game when people start using 100 rounds weapons and we won’t be able to defend ourselves when the death stacks start working together and cause more misery on the poor Germans who can’t defend themselves especially the Asians I’m sure they will probably draw the most blood.

Yes that would be nice. I agree. Larger belts for end game/ late game tiers and years of war. That would be a fair balance. Much like how there is a prewar K-98 and a regular K98.

Why isn’t yours 100 round? Seems kinda arbitrary to make it only 50 to be honest

One day

But one thing is for sure they BETTER NOT be any Premium or just a specific squad in general. They just be an unlockable weapon in our arsenal

We have to let them know our business

The German machine guns are only effective in short bursts. The recoil is too much to attempt suppressive fire when not mounted (just like in real life). Using short bursts of 3-5 rounds ensures a kill at nearly any range.

Therefore, adding 25 rounds will result in a very marginal difference, and it will not change the weapon’s behavior. It will still chew through ammo so quickly you will hardly notice a difference.

The reason is that the devs didn’t know how to animate MG belts, and German MGs always had those 50 round boxes.

didnt we have belt animation for the belt fed 100 round russian mg tho? i swear i saw that gun have it

We have animation for DP-27 Beltfed and Browning 1919A6 reload and both are beltfed

well that mean one day we can get 100 round belt fed mg for german just not rn i guess

What do you mean?

M1919a6 : low RPM
RD-44 : low damage and ridiculous spread
they’re not that good
MG15 is definitely better in DPS, unless you have a serious desire not to release the mouse

RD-44 and M1919a6 also cost 3 silver
and their 2-order MG are DT and M1918a2 ,I think MG42 has the advantage.

Indeed it makes no logical sense that an MG34 has a 50 round drum, but the MG34 patronentrommel, which has two of those 50 round drums, only has 75 rounds. Basic math would mean two 50 round drums would equal 100 rounds, but that is not what we get in the game.

The patrontrommel drum in reality only had 75 rounds, so that is reflected in the game.

BTW why do ppl consider MG42 to be superior to MG34? Imo it’s inferior in every way except for sights.

What are you talking about???

The mg34 with 50 rounds, in fact uses an ammunition belt (50) in a round box.

The patronenwhatyoucallthis is a magazine. The rounds in it, are not part of a belt, and the amount always was 75.

In short. Patronenthingy, is NOT 2 (50) boxes glued togheter…

Preferences, maybe. I myself prefer the 42 over all other axis lmgs. It suits my play style of only shooting with very short “taps”.

The 34 is better while prone, thought… When bipods work…
