What I do not see in the top right corner of the screen, are not latency/connection errors.
Thereās no lag, and thereās no notification suggesting any form of connection issue.
Therefore, what I see in the clip is another player tracking me through the wall⦠And the moment he realizes he canāt enter through the doorway without me seeing him, is when he decides to shoot me through the wall.

and you have been given explanation for that. try going to same spot and try to clip through that wall. i wouldnt be surprised if you can reproduce that.
just cause you are not having connection issues, doesnt mean that opponent is not having connection issues. there are regularly people from australia or china playing on EU and US server with 200-300 pings and connection issues.
ffs you clearly hear that he opened the door. he could have easily killed you when you were turned in other direction if he just rushed you.
and tell me what was the score of that ācheaterā at the end? did he have 200 or 300 kills? or 40-50?

However, I think itās worth mentioning that normally when your weapon clips through a wall, from your perspective it actually just looks like your weapon isnāt clipping through anything - and also you canāt see through the wall to shoot anyone on the other side.
The most significant problem with rifles clipping is when an enemy is so close to you that your rifle actually sticks through their body so that when you fire, the bullet doesnāt hit them, but actually fires from the end of your barrel which has clipped through them. This is bloody frustrating in close quarters combat.
The problem with bots before was that they have āeyes in the back of their headsā and can detect you even if not facing you. They did a āworkaroundā by delaying the time it takes for the bots to spin round and shoot you, but it seems that they also delayed bots reaction time overall, resulting in the current ridiculously slow behaviour.
All they need to do is include a āview angleā on bots just like any other game with AI, so that they only detect enemies within a limited radius from the direction they are facing. Even if that was set unrealistically high (ie higher than 180 degrees) it would still prevent them seeing you when youāre literally behind them.
Most games with AI also include sound detection distances, so if you make too much noise they can turn around when they hear you.
They also really need to sort out the weird sound design where you make loud footstep noises even just walking down a couple of small steps (clip clop clip clop - you guys know what I mean).
Also - you can hear people through walls as if thereās no wall.

When do you see the door open?
If the guy is entering from the stairs outside, when he opens the door, the door would open away from him. Not towards him. So when Iām looking in his direction, when he enters the room, the doorway would open in my direction, notifying me that someone is coming through.
But do you see the door open?

Not unless youāre looking at Forlornās screenshots, which is different than what you see in the 30 second video clip. Where the door is closed, and remains closed until Iām dead.

So can we get a helper or dev to give us some info on what they intend to do about the painfully slow AI reaction times ?
Itās getting to the point now where, once Iāve completed the Event tasks I end up staring at the main menu screen thinking āDo I really feel like playing another game with the awful AI ?ā - and the answer is most often ānopeā.
Now I only play when friends are online who still need to complete tasks (even if Iāve already done them earlier), but I no longer play just to enjoy a battle as the bots make the whole experience too damn frustrating.

Sound is important in enlisted.
use your ears. you clearly hear doors open trigger sound and that is why you looked at the doors. just idk if doors didnt open cause he was standing in front of it, or you saw closed doors cause of desync.
you wanna bet? cause bunker doors and that doors only open towards outside.
and is that server replay or live footage from the game? cause not everything you see in your client is happening the same way on server.

You were right about this specific door. It only opens one-way.
But still⦠In the video clip, the door is still closed when I get shot through the wall.
Whatever noise that was, where thereās the sound of a door opening⦠it may have been a door opening directly below me. That same building has doors on the first floor.
All I know is that if the door was open, there would have been sunlight showing through the doorframe
if someone is right in front of door it can auto close. like i said desync does weird things. replay would have more accurate situation of what server calculated and also you could have seen other player perspective.

Nice job, Look at him running into the door you can tell itās closed and he goes around it after he opens it. Itās confusing though because itās my guess that if he had walling ability he would have known about the dude that killed him in the 2nd vid and entered the room prefiring around the wall, but he doesānt react until the guy shoots at him.
Iād argue that this may be relevant to this thread because I think the other option here is possibility the is one of his bots and he ordered them onto the point, and the bot is too stupid to open the door but smart enough to see everything and know its barrel has LOS through the door? These clips are too short for me to know if this is the actual player.
I donāt understand how that shot was possible it looks like it clips the wall too, the bayonet is clipping into the wall midway.
This might be a long shot. But Iāts possible he was confused the door opened outwards and not inwards. He got stuck and aimed and shoot (in frustration) at the door. And there Sheeple happened to be LOL.
