Why are you not dogfighting with the Sb-2m?

  • MG in the back to protect your 6
  • Two Engine plane
  • Six 200 lb bombs for tactically unaliving infantry and tanks

Just get up close on his tail and position the plane to where the front gunner can fire. If they try to maneuver away, you can stay on their tail since you are far more agile than them.

I remember the updating announcement saying we can only operate one of those MG turrets?
Devs said only MG131 is available for Ju188.
Or, did I not look carefully?

Yeah, only one gunner was available for Ju188 on test server.

I hope they keep updating this and eventually all gunners will be usable by players.

The SB-2m is a good bomber, but it has a problem with wings that fall off at a speed of 465, only improving it to the maximum of stars will help, but its speed still leaves much to be desired

Both Su2 and SB2 are quite fine in low BR, esp when most Soviet players pack the P40 fighter-bomber.

Looking forward to turreted action, and Snail willing Soviets get actual tier 5 planes like Tu-2, Su-6 or something actually capable at high tier.

sb2m cockpit is the biggest eyesore in this game.
also there is the su2, which is faster, still turns great, and has 4x mgs you can aim yourself.
but i’d use the sb2m sometimes if the cockpit wasn’t this ugly.

I do not advise you to go faster than the Su-2. get a burst of 4 machine guns in your tail
