Why are there so many British tanks missing?

Why is there no Churchill MK I, MK VII, Churchill crocodile (flamethrower) , all the Valentine variants, Cromwell, Challenger, Avenger, Comet etc?
Will Darkflow release them eventually or are they waiting to release them in a British exclusive TT?

There is none planned at least for now so dont get your hopes up about the tanks though might see them in future either as event, TT unlock or premium

Agreed. Also Mathilda tank.

I’ve argued the USA-UK tree is too American focused. There’s so much missing from UK-Commonwealth, especially tanks and aircraft.

I understand the devs have no plans to make a separate UK-Commonwealth tree but nevertheless I still strongly believe UK-Commonweatlh should be separate.
After all, that would also free up space for more American tech in USA.

Some people argue for folders. Now folders are okay for one or two things but I am concerned about just how many folders there would be if the USA-UK tree was treated as a proper Allies tree, which it really ought to be.
Especially if we consider tanks and aircraft for example as this post mentions there’s so many British/Commonwealth tanks and aircraft missing (see War Thunder).

Im not sure if we even have a Spitfire in Enlisted.

It is also important to recognise that newer players will be unaware of folders. For instance the M3 Grant and M3 Lee you only see the Grant.

Look man, I’m beginning to doubt you even play the allied factions, since you do need to research the spitfire as a mandatory research to advance the plane line.

You treat folders are some sort of arcane lore that only the village elders know about? Like you do realise to advance the research tree you need to click on and hence open folders?

Like I agree, There needs to be much more Italian and British gear, however separating the trees into weird pseudo trees isnt the way forward.

Well Im glad we are in agreement there should be more British (and Italian) gear.

I also would mention again that I understand the devs have no plans to make separate trees though as I said I continue to believe in that idea.

I do play the Allied faction, a lot actually. Ive unlocked all the infantry weapons up to BR V (though I only play BR III) and am currently researching the M10.

I personally dont really use planes so yes I forgot there was a spitfire. I do note that most tanks/aircraft and BR III onwards weapons are American though. And of course while I dont use planes, a lot of other players do.

As for folders, yes they are not immediately apparent. And secondly, I do believe a tree chock a block full of folders everywhere would be messy and confusing.

Think of it like this. Lets suppose a Reider SMLE was added as a folder to M1941 Johnson. If I want to use that I have to research all the American guns I have no interest in, including the Johnson itself, before I can get to the Reider.
Whereas a UK tree I would only have to research P14 Enfield, SMLE Mk III SMLE Mk IV and Jungle Carbine. (and some of those could be foldered too)

Same goes for Vice versa. Want a Garand? Youre forced to research a whole bunch of Enfields before you can get there, the majority of which USA never used.

They are completely neglecting Britain.

Yep. Also RIP Canada, British India and New Zealand. We do have one Australian squad now, but they are missing slouch hats/digger hats. Plus the Owen gun squad is still bizarrely American???

There never was disagreement on this fact, no one has disagreed on this fact I dont believe. The priority sure, but the inclusion no.

The main problem with your approach is that it alienates a large majority of the playerbase, who want both italian and german, or british and US line ups.

Also no, folders are very apparent, maybe argue for a mandatory tutorial for using the research UI I suppose if you think they are that hidden.

And of course if they add more British weapons, you will need to rejig the tech tree to be a bit more logical, Instead of having 3 BAs that are shockingly similar that are all mandatory researchs, you foldered them together, and now the player can pick, do I want this obscure BA(Which some do, myself included) or do I jsut keep pushing forward to the thing that really interests me the player such as the Garand?

This is absolutely a better option to keep the menus more compact and less esoteric. Than attempting to sort through both trees to find the right weapons and squads you want. Especially if you want a lineup that might be based on a certain battle where both forces worked in parallel or certain units in the battle used their allies weaponry.

Taking the agency away from the player is nearly always a bad idea.

I agree and taking into account Britain was in the war from the start in 1st of September 1939 until the end in 2nd of September 1945, 6 years and the USA only from December 7th 1941 only 3 and a half years it’s completely unfair and unjustified how they are neglecting Britain and the commonwealth ,they have more than enough war designs and material to have a full British TT without the need to include any lend lease designs.

By the way have you noticed that in game when you select the TT icons on top of the screen it’s written USSR, USA, GERMANY, JAPAN, there is no Allies or Axis anywhere which makes quit clear Britain and Italy should not even be there at all.

its inconsistent. On the End Game screen it says “United Axis” for example

italy cry for this too

Because there’s no point in adding British tanks. US tanks will basically always be superior just because of ammunition.
British ground TT in WT is one of the worst, especially considering the WW2 only.

Plus Brits were only part of one faction in a single campaign back then. They never were a unique full faction.
So it’s quite obvious why there’s way more of US content.

Likely beeing reserved for an independent faction should they decide to add them.
Even though an independent faction was not publicly planned they might still want the option of adding them in the future but so far there was no need/ free manpower to put it onto a scedule.
