Oh yeah actually it was the same for me as well :o I think it only took me a couple of weeks or maybe even a month to grind for the Garand for the US. Without premium that is. After that, it was only a week until I was able to fully kit my squads out with Garands. For that “Historical Accuracy”! Lol I don’t blame you for buying discounted premium tho sounds like it’s too good to not take when it’s discounted. But I personally wouldn’t do it bc FUCK YOU GAIJIN! You ain’t getting anymore of my pennies you big snail.
yup yup, me too
LOL , yeah , i with u bros
There are the same people, no much difference
No problem but I have to be sure that I won’t waste my time trying to prove my arguments.
Here is a problem. Most people see very narrowly. They don’t look at things in complex since we have asymmetrical balance in game. They try to let down things to some kind of average value while ignoring rest parts of the game.
For example with tanks: what’s the point looking only and Jumbo vs. Panther? Why not Panther and Jumbo against rest? What about CAS? What about AT gunners and their equipments? What about maps and tank’s positions? And this can go on. There are a lot of parameters to track while you try to balance part of the game. And we are not talking about invisible parameters that only devs know.
D-day has very good flanking positions, I don’t know why most ppl ignore them. They help a lot to avoid MG nests and greyzone tanks.
Even Airport has it’s own positions and tactics to win but people keep playing deadbrain and then go in forum to complain that they can’t win head-on.
Theese kind of solutions could worsen the situation more. What’s the point in fighting consequences while you have your biggest issue right under your nose?
Why start with smaller issues when you can solve biggest issue easier? For examples with some bonuses for sides that are underperformed and little played?
What skills you need for suicide bombing greyzone Panther?
About rewards: devs nerfed exp you get from killing infantry with tank and more exp for killing tanks and planes. It’s already in game.
It’s not a magic deathwall that kills you instantly, you have plenty of time to get better position and get closer to tank.
Except they cannot hide - all custom games are open to anyone to join.
Already I’ve had a particular group of people “drop in” on a few games when I was trying it - so suddenly I’m not playing only bots - I’m playing half a team of proper people… and of course with only 1 player on my side I get done like dinner.
Which is OK - I stil get to massacre the bots that are there and get a silly amount of XP - but new players won’t.
IMO you should be able to have a private game that doesn’t give XP or other rewards - then you can practice, get to know the maps, match up with friends or foe, have clan battles, etc to your heart’s content.
I am a new player too, but this game is not like COD or Battlefield or HLL (in squads mode of course) where I, a casual and noob player, can kill anything before dead, in here atleast i kill 3 or 4 before dead, yeah, when face to face with a skill player, i might have a chance to kill him.
I am more surprised by the fact that nobody says that matches are open to everyone when they say that players use them to grind if I start a standard map, example: omer, and nobody enters it, would it be my fault? no! it is not my fault, neither of the developers nor of the other players, simply no one has entered stop.
and then, let’s clarify the fact of grinding, 7000 / 8000xp every 12/16 minutes is even lower than the xp of random matches for a good player, but it’s high for a bad player, so what’s wrong with a player not good, he gets a bit of his bones, even if only with bots and then enters normal matches ?.
and lastly all those who complain are those who are taking advantage of it, using boosters, premium subscription, premium squad to raise the xp, and who can no longer play shitty figther. (Because are to stupid for use the lobby)
I don’t understand the point you are trying to make sorry
that those who complain about costum lobbies complain about nothing, more or less this
I loled at “i like the grind”.
You like the fact you get new powerfull toys like fg42, and You can mow down low level noobs so You can feel better about Yourself lol.
Suddenly the guys you’ve been commiting war crimes against get to have some fun, and can grind to Your level in just 50h, lol.
I think You just don’t like fair competition, and are just bad player in hiding.
You forget that we already have all people running with fg42, because they won’t switch campaign to one they do not have op weapons, so they stick to one where they dominate.
Also half of those “noobs” are on Your team, so it’s good that they get some levels and maybe buuild some rally points for once.
I still don’t really understand this. Since we’re arguing opinions, there’s nothing to prove, just ideas to support.
Let me ask this a different way: Assume you’re about to play a match on Normandy as the allies, you know it’s going to be a beach map, and you know the Axis team is going to be stacked with more FG42s than anything else (which is entirely possible.) What loadouts to you use? What weapons do the allies get that are as good or better all-around than the FG42? Spoiler: There are none, and that’s by design. The FG42 was designed to be a capable all-purpose weapon. Giving it to all troops is an imbalance, moving it to gunners would make it still good but not OP.
Next time I’m on the beaches I’ll try to grab screenshots, because as I sit here drinking my morning coffee I can’t think of a single available flanking position on either beach map to take care of a greyzone panther as the attackers.
I don’t know what bigger issues you think would be easier to solve than the glaring weapon balance issue, but I don’t agree. I think it would take a lot more work to solve map balance issues than tweak a weapon’s properties
You mean like Normandy Allies? Also, what you’ve just described is the definition of power creep. “Faction A is really strong, so lets buff these other factions to compensate. Oh damn, we made them too powerful, more buffs over here.” That’s how we got the Panther in Normandy in the first place.
You know what? Fair enough. I didn’t think of that because I refuse to do it. Hate that kamikaze shit, if I’m flying I’m making at least three runs, go from there.
I think what he’s trying to say is that keeping XP rewards for bot matches will draw in bad players from PVP, letting them get some practice and progress in before they go back. It’s a solid argument, and with the number of people spamming “learn to play” in other posts I’m surprised I’m not seeing it more often.
