Hello,
as I told before - 20, even 25 rounds magazine for AVS was finaly found!
Why is it true 100%?
Look - besides the mags we see a 18\1 type of AVS. Just compare here and here:
And compare:
Sorry for my broken phone camera. Here on that forum you can find the same picture with a good quality and compare again If you dont trust >_<.
So, this is for sure 18\1 type. But for the other models mags is the same which is written in the Kovrov armory encyclopedy. Lets take a look:
As I’ve mentioned before, the 25 round AVS. But make it a BR III MG, like the KE7. We already have the AVT 20 and AVS 15, which both work well in their intended roles. Another “high capacity” AR would mean basically nothing, but as an assault based MG . . .
I like higher ROF for AVS but the smaller magazine and bad recoil makes it loser gun. AVT for 20 now is best for all conditions. So after AVS for 20 will be added in tech tree - will be an option to choose between higher ROF and better recoil. Which is good thing - opportunity to chose for me
Bro how do you not realise that putting an AVS in BR3 with 25 rounds would be the literal strongest and most broken weapon in the entire game? Are you mad?
Wouldn’t be the first time. But the AVS has extremely high recoil, and they could nerf accuracy, remove bayonet, and add a movement penalty. It’s naive to think me or the Devs would add an unchanged AVS to BR III.
Soviet mains always surprise me with their twisted ideas how to make most op nation even more op. Your creativity is an unlimited source of entertainment.
Uh, no, I’m an All Faction Main. (How many times do I have to prove it?). I know I may be the only one out there, be we (or rather I) exist.
If I’m being truly honest, it wouldn’t be too much different to Germany or Japan. Germany has a BAR with 5 extra rounds at BR II (don’t start on dispersion or movement penalties, I know the BAR is better, but it follows the same principle). And of course the KE7, which is just a (slightly better) BAR.
Now, maybe 25 rounds at 800 rpm might be too much for BR III (I’m still used to it being 600 rpm), but maybe the 15 round version can get downtiered instead.
So impose random arbitrary restrictions on one model of the gun, but a very similar weapon (the AVT-40) doesn’t have them? How does that even make sense? Why would a rifle have a movement penalty? Why remove a bayonet from a gun that was explicitly issued with a bayonet and already has one in the game? A bunch of random arbitrary nerfs that would make no logical sense.
A 15.8 damage SF rifle at BR 3 is stupidly broken. Also the AVS has extremely controllable recoil, as all SF Rifles do.
You guys are missing the point. I was saying the AVS 15 be moved down as a machine gun, hence why it would gain all the penalties associated with a machine gun. It would no longer be a select fire rifle.
I guess I forgot to mention it would be moved down because the 20 round version would be added. But if it doesn’t happen, nothing changes.
Thinks its a good solution - after adding an AVT|AVS for 20 rounds - 15 rounds AVT started to be unrelibale. But I still cant understend how AR comes to MG
It’s simple. In real life, that 25 round mag was probably meant for an MG variant, which basically just means a bipod, a longer barrel, possibly a muzzle brake, and maybe even a pistol grip.
In game they can model it for that as well, but they could simply, as mentioned before, just change in game stats. Wouldn’t be the first time a gun broke form in the game.
