I think there should be a different color “green or whatever” to make different my colleagues in the game while we are forming a squad, because there is no way to know where are they, we only can see bots everywhere.
On the other hand, bots seem to be quite useless, they don´t kill anybody, they are slow, “human targets” I only see their utility to me for another closer respawn… xD
I think it’s a good idea to assign various colours to your squadmates. Where most games usually have a singular (green) colour for it, I feel like Enlisted would do good to have a single colour per squad (For example, player 1 is yellow, 2 is green, 3 is purple and 4 is blue) in order to differentiate and coordinate a lot faster.
As for your AI squadmates; they get better once you get higher levels of them. I have a few level 3 troopers and they’re fantastic to have with me.

True, just putting my general suggestions there, I linked to it since it had my idea on it as well, but different colours colours for different party members would also be nice, but less clean etc.
Since this is a group of squads basically with your friends, it would be nice to have at least two visual indicators. One that colors other members of the groups squad differently both in HUD and map. Then also the current actively played member of the squad to have an indicator to show that is the one being played by that group member. So combo of color and symbol to be able to be aware of each other and work cooperatively.
Currently as it is groups are of limited real use as its only current value appears to be putting our squads on the same side in the same game and that is it. I mean what is the point of that if I cannot find them and work with them to attempt to win the battle. Right now its just a crazy hot mess for group play as it is not a real COOP mode, as there is no easy way to actually be cooperative.
your team mates you came into the game having a different color is quite literally the first thing most of my friends asked for.
optionally maybe even show their names at the press of a customized button
or allow customization of icons in the squad (erm, i mean the team, the group you join in the main menu)
it is important for development of good team play to have coordinated players
