like it gets very hot is it normal or can it potentially harm my pc
Hmmm, yummy baked potato…
Try to ask support and don forget tell them specs of your PC.

Can you list your pc specs, that might help to identify the problem
is this laptop or desktop?
computer getting hot is relatively normal when under load. if you have laptop you could have dust buildup and you should open it and clean your fan/heatsinks.
but overall it will not harm your PC. modern computers have built in failsafes for when temperature gets too hot. you may get throttled and your performance may downgrade if it gets too hot.
you may want to check your temperatures with open hardware monitor or similar program. overall anything below 90°C is ok temperature and should not throttle the CPU. depending on CPU they may be designed to work with max temperatures of 95° to 110°C
if you have ok cooling in normal temperature room (~21°C) you should get around 70-80°C for CPU temp.
I recommend You set a limit fps
It can be 10+ above your monitor Hz
I don’t doubt that your problem is real.
Some time ago I was also having a temperature increase in only one of my processor cores in a specific map: Hermann Goering strasse - Conquest mode.
But in some of the past updates the problem disappeared
This problem may happen because i’m using a mobile processor i9-9880H
Here is an example of my processor in a neutral state without much activity
Now here is an example of my processor temp in a battle: ( Watch the Max and Load values)
Note that the maximum temperature reached was 76 degrees. At the end of the match, the first core reached a temperature of 84 degrees. Check that this is normal and nothing is wrong.
If you think is really something wrong please let me know
Go on Options (Core Temp) and enable overheat protection. Activate the specified temperature and change this on 85°C. This should help to protect your pc. This high temperatures are not usual.
This is the highest temperature i get on my pc after 15 min stressing the cpu.
Get your self cpu-z ( its free) and make a test how your pc reacts.
high temperatures are actually quite usual depending if they are in laptop or desktop. it also depends on cooling solution and processor that they have.
only ryzen x3d has lower temperature and it can go up to 89°C without a problem. when it reaches that temperature it will start decreasing its heat output from 120W to lower value. this is default setting on all major MBO manufacturers.
ryzen 7000 are made to work on 95° (mostly cause shit design with thick IHS, deliding brings temperature down about 20°C)
intel 13th gen has limit on 100°C.
some generations have limit on 105°-110°C.
those are all limits from CPU manufacturers so you dont need to artificially bring them down. if you have adequate cooler (more or less non stock cooler) and still get high temperatures, you either need to clean cooler, or your cooler was inadequately mounted, or you dont have enough airflow in your case.
hard to say without any diagnostics or system specs. i would use some program like open hardware monitor or cpu z to check temperatures of your system. also check if something is working in background with task manager.
You need to know your pc and know what is a high temperature based on your specs
okey, thanks.
Never mind, manage to tweak some things with my graphics card that all of a sudden became different/broken.
Whenever I open this game, my internet decides to Alt +F4 itself among other problems.
I think I need a new computer.
You response was not for me, right? I know i bit from computers stuff😁
does this help?
like my pc can run battlefield1 without getting hot but it does get hot when I try to play rdr2 but its rdr2 its graphics cant be compareable to enlisted right?
when playing games you can be either CPU limited or GPU limited depending on how game is made and your settings. component that limits you will work on max power and thus create more heat.
so download open hardware monitor, run it, play a game of enlisted and then post screenshots for CPU and GPU temperatures.
also ryzen 5 3600 is 65W CPU, so if you didnt OC it you shouldnt have problems with cooling it even with stock cooler.
it got up to 80degrees ingame is it normal?
my graphics are on low btw
pull down the scrollbar more so you can see gpu temps.
here
overall both your CPU and GPU are within normal/safe operating temperatures for their parts. idk if you are in air conditioned environment, but it is normal for temperatures inside computer to be higher with ambient temperature being higher.
your max temperature rating for CPU is 95°C at which you will see performance issues cause your computer will throttle your CPU speed.
if you keep average GPU temp below 95°C and hot spot temperature below 110°C you GPU will be fine.
if you still want to improve temperatures for your PC you can try:
- clean dust inside cpu/gpu cooler with can of compressed air and clean dust buildup inside your PC case
- buy better cooler for CPU
- improve airflow of your case. either buy better case or install additional fans inside your old one if you dont have many
- get air condition in your room
Besides, see if ur cpu or gpu throttles. Are your fans ramping up. Also please post your specs
you can see from open hardware monitor that gpu is the bottleneck. also you can see his specs from there, ryzen 3600 and radeon 5600xt and he posted that he has 16GB of RAM.
