BR1 only meets BR1 and BR2
BR2 only meets BR1 and BR3
BR4 only meets BR3 and BR5
BR5 only meets BR5 and sometimes dunks on BR3
Why is BR3 the only BR destined to suffer being mega dunked by BR5?
Why do I deserve to get giga bonked by BR5 fantasy weapons with fairy tale stats just because I dared to equip a Garand or M1A1 Thompson and click “join any faction”?
Please stop bullying BR3, give it ±1 BR bracket too.
Even though I dislike the fact that BR3 can still meet BR5, I have to underline that seeing BR5 matches while using a BR3 line-up is now extremly rare for USSR and USA vs Germany.
The problem is Japan vs USA. Japan has fewer players and their BR4 is inexistant so no one plays it, thus we still have the old matchmaking for BR3 vs BR5 as Japan vs USA which is definitely infuriating

US 3 vs Japan 5 happens way too often and it doesn’t help that the things that kill me are origami paper.
I cant remember the last time I saw BR 5 as BR 3 USA. I know people complain about that but in my last 20 ish games USA BR 3 it maybe only happened once.
Probably just server and timezone related but funny how everyone but me keeps finding BR 5 matches.
BR 3 only get to play against BR 5, you never get a lower BR to fight, game has serious problems on playerbase, we are very little few players left and noobs are not staying long enough to understand the game.
The last screenshot contest got something like 100 contesters… Is not like the game is dying, is just not living.
BR3 being able to dunk on BR2 is not helping retain newbies either.
BR3-BR4 matches sometimes have BR5 players as well, but that usually means one or two for each team while the rest are BR3 or maybe some BR4 guys.
Its probably because there are not enough BR4 players because they themselves don’t want to be raped by SF spam.

BR 2 should fight BR 2
BR 3 should fight BR 3
BR 4 - BR 4
and BR 5- BR 5.

This is sole reason I “DON’T” play level three Allies much anymore, even though it was my favorite faction and level to play. But when I do decide to play Allies at level three and get the Japanese I will scan my peepers on the kill chart scrolling on the right and when I see my first level five weapon, I desert. DF might want to consider that this is one of the reasons that they don’t have enough players between Allies and Japanese. My BAR A2 is competitive at level five, my M1 Garand is not against all the fully auto crap that you face in level five.
The worst thing about it is that I now almost exclusively play Germans or Soviets because of crap like this, and DF needs more players playing Allies and Japanese, not German and Soviets. Some here say “I like the challenge” being uptiered, but I would say the majority don’t. NTM those who want this challenge can merely add one level five weapon and boom, they get their challenge, where those who want to play level three on equal footing “DON"T GET THAT OPTION”.

I also find it rather hilarious that when I moved from BR III Allies to BR V Allies, so far Ive never had a battle against Japan.
I also thank you for calling out how while the BARA2 is alright, the Garand for instance is not (let alone Lee Enfields).
Like the Owen gun in certain situations still holds its own at BR V. But that doesnt mean all BR II weapons are fine at BR V (not to mention player ability).
Furthermore, as you allude to, hey maybe a player chose BR III precisely because they want to play at BR III? NOT BR V??? (mind blown)
I too swapped to Germans having grown tired of Allies and being constantly stomped.
I love level three allies, against the level 3/4 Germans, but not level 5 Japs. 
You know, I am 60 and have been playing video gams since Pong back in the late 1970’s 
. I have bought and played 'every" Medal of honor, call of duty and Sniper elite (except 5 cuz my system was incompatible).
My suggestion for DF would be to just go 1/1 with allies/japan and create better game opposition bots. So, when there are not enough players just let them be filled with bots, even if that means the entire team. Personally, I would rather play against somewhat competitive Bots then be offered as a sacrificial lamb to some level five cannon fodder match. You can’t tell me that in the year of our Lord 2025 that Dark Force cannot make a better game bot then a game made in the late 1980’s or 1990’s.
That being said, people have been complaining to Dark Force for the past couple of years about this, and nothing from Dark Force other then the “we don’t have enough players” crap. Well, we still don’t have enough players and I’m guessing that number at level three allies is slowly dropping. I have heard from some of my friends that play Japan that they don’t play level three now, just level five. So, DF can pat themselves on the back for killing off level three Allies/Japan. Do they care?

Every infantryman in the Signal Corps has an automatic pistol
My teams are all activity teams

BR3 really should only face BR3 or maybe BR4.
Against BR2 you’re pretty overpowered . Against BR5 you’re extremely underpowered.
The current BR system doesn’t work on more than one level.
I’m playing jap on BR 1 and is constantly getting hammered by BR 3 with m1918s, thompsons and people spamming grenades from their rifles everywhere.
This is despite the statements about BR 1 never to meet anything higher than BR 2.
If anything it scares the newbies away.
