What's the point of grinding or buying higher BR stuff?

Currently, there’s no BR. The more you grind, or pay, the better equipments you get. Thus enjoying easier matches. This is how Enlisted progression works. (For most non hardcore gamers.)
Come on, Enlisted selling point is easy FPS gameplay. Not e-sports.

And as we struggled with dev in CBT era, when players including me, complaining on P2W and unbalanced progression system.
For over 2 years of service. We take current situaion as granted. We are used to how the progression system delivers in rewarding cycles.

I complained about P2W progression back in CBT

Back then, higher progression/grinding/pay to skip was a very new things, as later levels OP stuffs were just added to game.
After more than 2 years of being “brain washed” to play the game only for better equipment down the progression system.
Then, you are finally going to change that.

What about I play and pay and grind just for easier and happier gameplay? Now, all those paid and grinded late war/advanced equipments only means harder matches to me, which also means useless to me.
Come on, I already passed crying for balance age. And I already get rid of the interests of playing high intensity battles, when I played a lot in CAT and just after OBT period.
After

playing constantly like 640+ days,. Who the fk care about intense battles. Only full of boringness .
I only want easier matches to me. I play the game for fun, not for competitive.

When you introduced Stalingrad FAP. I thought you finally going to change the game of “playing for grinding, for better equipment, paying to be more powerful. Not actually enjoying the game contents itself”.
When everyone can get a easy access to full contents, there’s no balance issue on equipments.
You can choose to play whatever you like. Also, enable lots more diverse play styles, like someone likes to sniping.
Then FAP is not only discontinued, but also completely gone!

After the BR added to the game, grinding or purchasing higher levels content for what?
For facing those elite players, and get crushed by them?
If you want to play arcade, all those later levels equipments is no longer useful to you.
Seriously, all those progressions you achieved, is no longer meaningful. In terms of getting game experience, you are no better than a newbee account.

there is only one point to all this

conditioning people into the communist mindset and doctrine

Stop it right here. @FastGT007 .
The balance was asked by many players. There is no fun in getting farmed as a newcomer by high end gear players. It just doesn’t make sense and leaves newcomers frustrated.
Me personally I think about the game and how it can evolve. So the new BR system, although it needs maybe some adjustments, is the right step for the game’s sake.

We were all newcomers at some point in this game, it was harder and we would get “raped” by veterans. However, that didn’t make us quit. We just persisted and now the game is more fun than ever. I understand that the MM needs adjustments but i must point that having 6 campaigns divided the player base. Some with nobody and bots other more balanced. Maybe concentrating for now everybody into factions only and leave the MM by gear for later would be a good test .

Who asked for those changes? What kind of player gajin listens? Cause there are a lot of baseless complaints on the forum from players frustrated just venting nonsense and then ask that everything should be nerfed.

Newcomers have to go through difficulties and it has to be something that differentiates new from veteran. Rolling the red carpet for them just because they get frustrated isnt a solution. The only way they gonna play easy battle is with low tiers guns and those can be quite meh. The fun one are at higher tier but then you will be facing experienced players. You will be stress all the time.

With that said , after all the difficulties, we stayed , so it shows that the game has some retention. In the new MM i can see the retention go away a bit. It will be either played hardcore esports battles with sweats or you have to lower you gear to have more relaxed battles.

All we can do now is buckle up and see how this update will work once implemented. Lets hope the trial and error wont last long

But there isn’t enough of us. Enlisted needs more players. It’s not as successful as it should be. And that’s despite it essentially being “Warthunder with infantry”. That’s a great pitch. Lots of people love that idea. Or “Battlefield, but with denser fighting and more explosions”. Sounds great. And yet, where are all the players? We have to fight against bots all the time. But we still expect this game to grow and add more content.
Enlisted can either become a whale-farm or it can grow its playerbase. And you don’t attract players by frustrating them from the very beginning.

Also, consider, that we had it easier as newcomers. When I first started playing, the worst thing I had to worry about was Jumbos and FG 42s. Now there’s freaking Stg44s, Panzerschrecks, King Tigers and T34s in Moscow.

Maybe because we have 6 campaigns that divide the player base? Now The idea of armies it should condensate a bit

The merge is basically an emergency solution. It’s surely not what the devs wanted. Enlisted was build around having campaigns. The whole feel of the game relied on (mostly) authentic armies in their specific time and place.
If Enlisted had been more successful, the merge wouldn’t even have been disccused.

it’s so funny to me that people say there isn’t enough players, but then all the evidence shows that players in this game don’t really want to play against more players, they like to get the easy xp vs the bots and that’s the culture of this game

and that’s just a fact

people leave matches looking for the easy farming matches, we see the stats reflect this, premium players and paid players abandon matches if they can’t spawn their plane or tank from the outset, and same thing if they don’t get their preferred farming maps and situations…

the core players in this game don’t care about other players and player numbers

they only care about killing as many bots as possible and getting as much xp as possible to unlock stuff as soon as possible, that has been the culture of the game all along

and now with the new br system, the reward for unlocking fancy stuff is that you are limited in how you use it and are forced to only use it in matches where everyone else has the same high level gear, I can already see that the same quitting culture that exists now will continue and even intensify, as players will continue to quit matches to find other matches with more bots on the other team and less players on the opposing team so that the battle is easier and more favorable for fun and winning, so if there will be more players in the pool, the players will quit harder to avoid certain players and try find the easier matches with certain players on their team

the BR system is a waste of time and effort, and if anything it’s going to hurt the games future

Personally I am about ready to dump the game as soon as the new BR rubbish lands, just hope they push it forward, so I can get more enjoyment out of this before it bricks

Please be aware that the Matchmaker and the Balance will get reworked. So I suggest to First Check Out the Dovbleg!!

i love farming new players.

Based on the developers’ 4 months (120 days +) work progress, all they got was this table(This table is also suspected to be a simple vision of the non-development team core members (this does not take 4 months)), and a preview image full of errors, and conflicts with the table. There is only despair. It may take another 4 years for the developers to finish the new tech tree and br system for existing content if they don’t occupy the IP and ideas of other players through free?
What valuable work did the developer team actually do on their own in 4 months?
What is the utilization rate for a 4-day work week with at least 6 hours of work per day?
The current new technology tree of this kind of table, I personally can 1 day to arrange at least 1 or more.
However, the managers claim to reject complex and multiple suggestions, and require the player to provide a full explanation of each suggestion.
None of the developers do that in their own R&D reports?! Why ask the player to do so?Self-contradictory?
Do I even think it is necessary to contact the administrative staff to check?
But I do appreciate the efforts of some of the moderators, and the Alpha team. Maybe without you guys, the results of 120 days of work by the developers would have only been worse.
To emphasize: Why was there once a group of people in the land near the Arctic Ocean who chose to abandon the red and put in the blue. It was because they thought blue was more advanced, better, and superior. But why, for decades, was that group envisioning a return to red, or even the more ancient white? Because, of course, blue has brought nothing but tears to people for decades !!!!
Reform, progress! Very good!
But not a blind change!
Not mindless change!
Not change that just chants slogans!
Not a change of formality!
Just like developers would be amazed at a module author who could make a near perfect garage landscape module in three days.
At the time I asked the question, how many months would it take the development team to make the same garage module?
Free workers are trying to make this game better, and some of the paid employees are just shouting slogans? Is that right?Even individuals, who may receive a salary simply explain: I am not good at playing games (PC side)

Yeah but by simply working towards the higher tier equipment, the player would become more experienced to then deal with the more experienced player.

But either way, being in a higher tier doesnt automatically mean you are good. It just means that you equipped all your soldiers with the best gear, but it doesnt mean you will actually do well if you cant play well to begin with.

Other than maybe in tier 9 or 10 would I imagine that it would be kinda sweaty. But it doesnt mean that you cant enjoy the game now that players will actually be present in the game and trying to win.

People have just gotten too used to having bots in their matches, making for easy games but it was never meant to be a PvE game.

Because no one dare to say they are used to grind for getting OP stuff and getting easier kills.
While I already said it for 2 years, and dev dont care.
So I also dont care now anyone complaining on farming.
You are too late to change what is belonging to game’s fundamental attractiveness to players.

It’s kinds of betrayal to how we play the game for.

Also, BR is not making this game more fun to players. If you want everyone has a equal power on equipments, why not go for the Stalingrad system? It’s the true way of everyone have same equipment options, and we choose the way we like to play. Not considering any BR BS.

Also, I already gave advise on how to deal with some extra OP weapons on match:
Just limit player’s amount to carry them, or the limit amount in active usage on the same match. MKB and Federov shouldnt as such common as some Enlisted’s matches have.

That’s how to deal with greatly different weapon powers.

BR?
Love to see it will still be broken in off peak hours. And the whole forum is filled by BR complains.

Just why not based on rank?
Dont we already have the rank system?
Just fix it to let it actually representing how well the player’s performance.

It is!
OMG can’t believe how nowadays players know about Enlisted.
Why this game standout in end of 2020 and early 2021, was its bots! It greatly reduce the battle intensity, and making everyone having easier kills, including the newbies.
Do you know how many games have PVE or COOP missions. And what’s OW2 most downsides? lacking of easy PVE gameplay.
Not everyone like to play competitively. Even you do now, do not means you can do it everyday, for 3 years. And at Enlisted’s dev’s marathon intensity. It’s impossible to go that way.

I am not sure how the devs want to take the ranks yet, however I can see how it might be implemented into the tier system rather than just its own independent rank.

So for example I can see it working where if you are above a certain rank, you cant play below a certain tier, and that sets a minimum rank for them to play in no matter the type of equipment they have. That way it helps newer players against people trying to seal club on the lowest tiers purposely.

That’s fair enough, but I would reword my stance as just not being the main point of the game since although we fight against bots, there is still a player that is ultimately controlling the squad.

However, If I just want to relax and play I just fly, win or lose but that’s how I play and I don’t expect others to do the same that I do, so I can understand that aspect.

I will say though, whenever they get around to upgrading custom games, it might solve that problem with the PvE aspect. That way people can play the type of matches that they want while earning modest rewards like in a live match. We will see how it all works out over time.

Finding more than enough players at 4AM US Pacific on PC. In fact, the only way I’ve been getting into bot matches is by fully turning off crossplay via Xbox settings on Series X.
