I made the statement that the BAR is an AR/BR like weapon, I did not say it should be an AR and it is a ridiculous idea to classify it as SF and have every rifleman equipped with it.

Plus I never said anything about the BAR should stay as a low BR weapon if it was reclassified to SF rifle.

Btw. Just because BAR is named Browning automatic rifle, it doesn’t mean it is assault rifle. Assault rifle is hybrid between rifle and smg.
On other hand, MGs are nothing less than automatic rifles.

I wouldn’t mind that B.A.R to be BR2. More reasons for me to use it and perhaps, enjoy time there more. Using any BR3 right now and you get sent to the madness that is the Pacific. With all the Hei auto spam and etc. Good suggestion here @Ron_McKracker

If we keep pushing the idea, they’ll change it. We pushed for the recent BR changes and they listened.
Since the Besal has similar stats, should it be bumped up to BR III?
It is literally the worst BAR, I don’t see the issue with this when stats are looked at.

I’d like to see that, too, but the worst BAR is bad enough to be in BRII.
And if we are being honest, BAR A2 should be BR IV.
BAR is a very good weapon. It is no wonder that it is on BR3 because it is a weapon that can easily be called an assault rifle.

BAR A1 and A2, but not the M1918 by itself. Do you run the first BAR a lot?

DIfference between M1918 and M1918A1 is like 0.01 dispersion and 3 vertical recoil. Oh and a bipod… which does not work in this game anyway. There is like no way this the M1918 is BR2 but the A1 is BR3… BAR are really good on BR3, the -25% movement reduction (instead of -50) is what make them really good.
Very true. Vickers might be the best BR 1-2 MG (daunting).
Problem is that the BAR has excellent soft stats: Fast ADS speed, less sprint speed penalty + the M1918 has the lowest dispersion penalty when moving and aiming, so it’s very accurate even on the move.
Unless it gets a drastic nerf, which i don’t think is the way to go here, it’s simply too good for BR II.

Do higher numbers for the ADS speed mean that the ADS is quicker, or does it mean the opposite? (confused about graph)

Why is the BAR ADS so fast?
It’s lighter compared to most MG’s which are ~10kg, so it makes sense that the ads speed is faster
