I believe all discontinued stuff should eventually return to some extent. But the chance to get them should be time limited, mp717 should definitely not return to TT.
Everyone who wants to play ppsh can do so in soviet faction.
I would love Gewehr 1888 to return. I bought only one back then. It was one of the worst BA in the game. But after its buff, it became quite decent. It’s only downside now is lack of bayonet. But it’s very stylish.
Ohh, and I want more pieces of MkB 35. Even tho they massacred it.

Using that argument the Panzerfaust should be removed from the Soviet Faction and replaced with Allied AT Weapons.Because if you want to use the Panzerfaust you must play with the AXIS and not with the Soviets.Since it is a GERMAN Weapon created by GERMANY and Used by GERMANY

That’s what I already suggested several times. Soviet Pfausts should become legacy weapons. And instead DF should add proper soviet AT launchers prototypes. There’s several topics about them here on forum.

There are so many GOs that people and myself passed on but are now relevant due to the BR system. I only bought one of the hyde smgs and would instantly buy more if available. I would buy the low tier pavesi, mkb, the silenced smgs for germany/u.s. would be fun to use with the new guerrillas, the m2a1, and suomi
(The bsa thompson and berretta 1918 are must haves but own those)

They have deliberately screwed over stalingrad players already, it doesn’t matter if the 717 made it back to a veterans box or something.

all who said “well if you want play ppsh play soviets or played stalingrad” you all disgust me, because not everyone where able to do it and if you say me “its exclusive thing” go to hell, thank you, I would love for new players to be able to try out weapons that they never got to see because they were discontinued for whatever reason the developers chose, your elitism disgust me

You will get literally the same gameplay experience with soviet ppsh.
Captured ppsh41 should indeed make it’s way back to TT. Axis don’t really have anything worthy (smgs. Assault rifles are good) in br 5 (Kiraly should be 4, recoil is gross).
Especially the m93 mannlicher. Why in the world did such a rifle get removed? It’s decent, and fun to use.
“Exclusivity” is something useless that does not bring anything for me, it doesn’t make my gameplay more fun when I use one of my 30+ captured ppsh41.
As for those being only Soviets… if we apply that logic Soviets TT would lose HALF it’s tools (all the allies stuff, Captured fausts etc) and Japan would lose a good amount of smgs as well.
More options is always better. Those are even historically accurate for whom that matters to boot!

For me, what we lost, aren’t weapons ( although one or few I’d like to see no doubt. Such as the g40 rifle, m1a1 carbine with stock varient and sniper kriegsmodel, panzershrek alongside many other unreleased weapons )
I think squads from the older campaigns should definitely come back.
I kinda retreat not having finished the Moscow and partial Tunisia campaigns finding my self limited in my presets.
I know it may wound wild, but more is always welcome. And even 120 squads, I never have enough.
Considering all brs, weapon combos, classes, squads etc. and in my case, historical loadouts for all factions and campaigns. Still don’t have enough presets either. Because I lack squads, and presets slots
( outside for devs having to keep track of each and modify them… but still )

Personally I dont like the whole captured thing (of major factions). Perks of a specific Major factions being given to another (like panzer faust and lend lease)
Instead of PPSH41 I would much rather give Axis a version of the Suomi!
