Also acceptable
i only found out yesterday that theres a limit of 4, let me outfit my soldiers how i want dangit
Captured ppsh should not go to tech tree. This is coming from someone who plays germany and doesnāt have one. It would make all other german smgs obsolete which should be the featured guns here. It would take away the value of the suomi premmy squad as well. I hate the idea of weapons going to other TTs in general. Soviet panzerfausts should be removed and replaced with soviet/ally stuff.
A couple of event guns here and there is acceptable. But shouldnt be easily accessible
Iāve never seen anything more intellectually dishonest from you than this laughable statement.
The lend leased/captured stuff in Soviet TT is at best about 5% of their stuff.
Some planes (I really donāt understand why they made another factionās aircraft a TT for the Soviets. There are so many Soviet aircraft that could have been used instead. The HA justification is in joke at this point) and then 3 AT launchers. All of which could easily be replaced with Soviet prototypes.
And the Winchester rifle is rightfully in the Soviet tech tree, not the Western Allies tech tree. It was primarily made for Russia.
All other stuff is either premium, event or legacy. And thatās how it should be.
Captured and lend leased stuff shouldnāt be in TT. Especially since it can have itās original faction in TT instead.
Copy pasted stuff across several tech trees just degrade the integrity and uniqueness of each faction.
Such items should be exclusive and limited.
MP-717 should definitely never come back to TT. And neither any new captured stuff should.
Yet another bizarre argumentation. In that case it would be better to just add new content to the game. Rather than screwing up old players by disrespecting their past grind in unpopular campaign plagued by terrible and aggressive monetization. You either paid or experienced worst grind in Enlisted to get MP-717.
The exclusivity is definitely justified.
And these players should not be screwed again by DF putting this weapon in TT. Otherwise they should be further compensated.
Itās not really important if you personally do care about exclusivity or not.
Other people do. And exclusivity is definitely part of the live service games.
Even more so with the introduction of the gaijin marketplace, where the value will actually be realised (not 100% confirmed tho)
Btw. And I am highly against opinions that such approach is elitism or so.
I am certainly not opposed to the possibility to return way how to get the weapon again.
But that opportunity should be limited in time or in some other way. So that the gun doesnāt just lose its exclusivity.
Thatās why Iām also against putting past event rewards into TT.
Itās an insult to all players who previously invested their time and/or money in these events.
Maybe your usual dishonesty is rubbing on me? Get a hike Adam. No one, NO ONE here is as dishonest and toxic as you are
Yeah, I am toxic and dishonest because I dared to point out your intellectual dishonesty.
I dare you to name the āHALF itās toolsā then.
hey man, just saying. Thereās a reason ppl, and not just I, call you elitist, toxic, dishonest etc.
Whatās truly ālaughableā is that you allow yourself to belittle others, when you yourself areā¦ well, you.
but anyway if you want to play that word game. Iāll give it to you, itās not precisely āhalfā. But I wouldnāt say ā5%ā either. No faction takes as many stuff from others as Sovs do, from TT, event, and premium squads.
- Winchester
- Madsen
- bazooka
- faust 60
- faust 100
- hurricane
- p40-e
- boston
- p63
- m1921 tommy (100 rounds one)
- Lewis
- Chauchat
- arisaka rifle (old engy one)
- Valentine
- M3 Lee
- Sherman 76
(Not counting Breda lmg and grip tommy. they got removed like captured ppsh)
Well, you said TT.
Soā¦
We are only here.
Winchester is controversial, since it was mainly made for Russia. And thus its existence in USSR tech tree is pretty reasonable. It fits USSR more than Western Allies TT.
Again, existence of Madsen in USSR tech tree is more reasonable than in any other tech tree.
Both of those weapons are not copy paste and the placement is reasonable.
So I as I have said, we are left with few planes and AT launchers.
Planes could be easily be made legacy and replace with actual USSR unique planes instead, thereās so many of them in WT.
Same goes for AT launchers, they could be made legacy and replaced with actual soviet prototype weapons (there are several posts about them here on forum)
I donāt have anything about captured/lend lease/copy pasted items to be event/premium/or limited on some other way.
Just because they are not in the TT doesnāt mean they shouldnāt be obtainable.
It just means that players have to put in more effort (or money) to get them. This way exclusivity is preserved.
Id kill for the MKb 35 to return
This was made specifically for the russians
I give this one a pass because they bought massive numbers of this gun for ww1.
I donāt mind so much about the u.s. equipment as they did supply them with a lot of gear. What bugs me though here is they are better versions of what u.s. TT has.
I think the chauchat should of gone to u.s. or germany with a french squad.
I think them having the panzerfausts is dumb as well
I expected the mp717(r) to return as an event weapon, a fair compromise in my opinion.
Honestly I do like a little exclusivity but that should only apply to a few weapon skins like the engraved pistols, pre-order name decorators and battle heros (or whatever soldiers with medals next to their name are called.
Everything else should be acquirable.
Why canāt players just purchase old premium squads or earn half a year old or older event squads by farming battle pass tasks?
Not sure if it is still available, but the S&W Semi auto Light Rifle at BR2. I bought all four, but put my M1ās in the closet as the Smith is much better.
Iām jealousā¦ I bypassed it because of that weaponās legacy/history. I thought it would be equally atrocious in gameā¦
Big mistake.
I picked one on the ground once and saw how great it isā¦ no recoilā¦ at allā¦
Iād buy some were they to come back.
Make them better then.
And? DF sells/ sold worse obsolete premiums.
I hate the M1 now, and since most of my level 2 squads are assaulters I really only have the need for about 4 semi autoās anyway, and the Smith fills that role. I have two assaulter squads and both only have two rifleās, so the Smith works great there. Buying those and the German Condor MG are probably the best BP weapons I have purchased. I also like the FN 1930 German machine gun as seems to be basically a 1918 BAR for the most part, and I do like the BARās, especially the A2. I would say the FN1930 is closest to the first BAR, and I have four of them.
This squad is all BP weapons.
Did they already fix the squads icon???
Can you check the Pacific flamethrowers squad? Is the Liberty statue back?
No evidence that the Soviets ever used it in WW2.
The best I could find were honourable mentions to a couple of partisans and militants who MIGHT have used it during the advance to Moscow. But not regular Soviet forces, and why should they? They bought, at best, 1.2k of them. The Russians made more Feds.
There are more evidence that the Japanese and the Germans used it than the Soviets because they captured it from the Nordic nations and, in the case of Japan, from Dutch colonial soldiers.
Let alone letting the Allies use it since the Dutch and Nordic nations are part of them.
But no. The Russians are 1000000% reasonable because they bought roughly 1200 machine guns roughly 30-40 years ago.
Winchester was delivered only in quantity to Russia, but that didnāt stop the devs from giving the Browning Hi-Power to the Allies, though the Germans made more of them in Belgium, and the main production was in Belgium.
Even if like two out of ten people only want this because they need to feel special.
