Comrades, I think we are entering a new Era. Developers for the first time officially added post-war to the tech tree. Now the Soviet faction will be able to demand an IS-3, T 44 100 and so on. The argument about post-war weapons and equipment no longer works, as we can see in the example of the SU-9.
We can say that HISTORICITY is OFFICIALLY DEAD. They added a post war plane
But I hope ours game doesn’t slip into Call of Duty Vanguard after all.

Most of it is some very nice stuff.
But the panzerschreck for Japan is a bit of a bruh moment for me.
The rest is fine by me.
Adding the M9 Bazzoka would have been a better start.
All of this could have been avoided if the M20 Bazooka was added to the US tech tree, I’m fine with post-war weaponry within reason (and some people should really just stop with the whining on this front), essentially you should be asking yourselves “what if the war had lasted another year” and then add those vehicles and weaponry to the game. Japan should really have access to captured US AT weaponry.
I abhore the idea of Japan getting anything late-war German, they’d have no way to recieve them or manufacture them. It was a shot in the foot to give the US a panzerschreck, it’s even more of a mistake to then also give them to Japan! There are objectively better ways to handle the balance problem that don’t invovle giving weapons to countries that never had them!

Not disagreeing, but it’s been obvious since at least the merge that Japan needed better AT weapon to match USA. Dev’s have had plenty of time to implement solution that wasn’t a copy + paste
Eh, the Ho-Ri Production being in the game kinda disproves that. So much of Japan TT is based on paper-thin info that this isn’t a great excuse imo

if they start adding post ww2 stuff then i would like to see more br’s and stuff going to modern day eventually. this wil stop people complaining.

Early post war is fine, I like the question “what if the war had lasted another year?”. It’s way better to add these things to fix balance than weaponry that no one was ever in a position to recieve (no panzerschreck for Japan, dear God, the US should have gotten a Super-Bazooka instead anyway!)

The difference between the current BR IV and BR V is already abysmal.
Add a new BR between the current BR IV and BR V.
In this new BR, lower some weapons from the current BR V such as the Kirally, MB, PPSH, IS 1, Tiger 1, Sherman 76mm, etc. (not the automatic weapons… let the semi-automatic ones continue).
The current BR IV will only face the BR III and this new BR.
The new BR will only face the BR IV or itself.
The current BR V (which would become BR VI) will only face itself; it will not be able to face the new BR, much less the BR IV (automatic weapons will now be available)…

True. If the soviets have a post-war jet, then I don’t think it would be a problem to add the Super Bazooka.

If it is true as you say, and I hope it is, I would be fine with a temporary wait for better options. Granted that it is an actual wait, that it truly is coming!
There are things they could absolutely do that don’t involve giving everyone and their mother the panzerschreck, I’d be way happier if the US had gotten the M20 Bazooka to begin with (post war is fine if it’s not more than a year of, it’s a cool “what if it lasted another year” scenario). Then they could add captured US weaponry to Japan, something they’d definetly have access to instead of fantasy German teleportation magic!
It would have been nice if they had given him 48 RM4 rockets, I hope I can use this soon!!!
Statistics? Will it have a 250 round belt? I would also like to see the MG45’s cadence increased to 1800 plus a 250 sling.

This definitely didn’t have to make it into the game no matter the excuse, this is post-war and I don’t want it to happen in the future. I had to face Cold War/Vietnam weapons with my WW2 weapons.
The update is fine, but the Soviet fighter is annoying because it once again receives another post-war weapon…
I’m eagerly awaiting further news of the update.
I hope to soon see the Ar 234 C-3 with its 500kg or 1000kg bombs plus its variants with multiple 30mm MK 108 cannons And Panzerblitz or RM4 Rocket Capsules

It doesn’t matter that the Soviets received something back after the war. It’s not bad to receive something that was used in WW2
We need more guns on TT not plane or tanks.
