Tank and plane spam in some campaigns (ehm … normandy) is just destroying every meaningfull gameplay.
After losing × number of tanks and planes, there should be a time limit before to spam them.
You destroy 2 enemy tanks, 4 of them comes
You destroy an enemy plane, 3 of them spawn right after anorher.
Id prefer if vehicles cost more tickets than squads for losing…ofcourse that doesnt work for defenders in invasion.
Heavies lose most, then medium, then light, then infantry
Bombers lose most, then ground strike, then fighters then infantry

So one idiot can doom the whole team by wasting heavy equipment over and over again?
Imo only “personal” limits like spawn score or spawn points makes sense.
2 tanks and 2 planes for the entire team depending on the situation is already bad for those who do the objective with less manpower to take or hold the point where the extra manpower would’ve been used for stuff like building extra rally points or flanking the enemy.
Even worse is part of the infantry is mostly sniping while others are in tanks and planes to the point that its just impossible to do the objective.
well idiots will be idiots but I dont think it would be as bad as all that. “Most” games you dont see much more than 8 vehicles lost (thats inlcuding tanks and planes)
Most people will easily lose that many infantry squads. Id just shift the tickets to introduce a bit of trade efficiency into it.
Infantry cost less, vehicles cost more. Ultimately wouldnt affect game length, just the value of destroying vehicles over infantry on the ticket pool.
Ok but what about trolls?
as in just spawning in bomber after bomber and kamakazi? Isnt there a timer increase for spawn if they do that? perhaps that timer should stack indefinetly (inside same match).
I have seen idiots keep spawning starter tanks despite they keep getting destroyed by better tanks. Pacific happens to be one of the most common vehicle spam maps where there’s always M13s all over the place despite Japanese team having AT soldiers and tanks to easily dispose of them yet idiots still spawn M13s until the end.
Even in Normandy when Allies spam Stuarts against a single Tiger and the Tiger destroyed them all.
Yeah Ive played a fair bit of pacific, But at least in the months I grinded it, Allied tanks were so rare cos there was no point (because of said 20mm AT rifle). Vehicle kills were still pretty low (ofcourse there are exceptions, I have screenshots where Ive killed 20 plus) unless you look at the bomber formations shot down. But hey, Id say more idiots throw infantry(10-20, thats an individual player) than they do vehicles, making infantry cheaper and vehicles more expensive Could end up being a net positive.
But it doesnt matter much. I just like little additions like managing trades. I think its a great part of games being able to determine efficient trades. brings more meaning to different classes of vehicle and spawn choices.
That’s why they have limited slots, 2 tanks and 1/1 planes.
You shouldn’t reflects your frustration in some kind dishonest suggestions. Just dont play Normandy if it’s so problematic for you.

Yeah, nice method, some girl with imbalanced lazerstuff gets points and sits on a vehicle for whole battle, giving no chances for people with weaker guns or tanks to grind. Another genius move
I think vehicles are great and fine more or less as of now. It’s great to see a lot of vehicles during a match.
It is well within everyone’s right to use whatever vehicle they want. Sometimes I feel like playing a heavy tank, sometimes a light tank. I could be Maximum Level SuperN00b Destroyer 420xD and I’d still use the Stuart if I felt like it
It’s also nice to see different kinds of vehicles throughout a match. As I say, I like seeing Stuarts and Tigers all running around the battlefield.
And every vehicle has its pros, cons, and roles. I’ve said before how you could have a Ha-Go and Sherman in the same match and they’d each perform well within their respective roles. It’s the Ha-Gos job to support the infantry and it’s the Shermans job to kill you. Sometimes you’re on a good streak, sometimes you get blown up. That’s just the part and parcel of the game and the beauty of the sandbox

Though personally I’d preffer not spawn score but spawn points, like in Planetside2. This way even the biggest noob can spawn as many things as some mlgproplayer3000.
Though now when I think about it, maybe the 1st option is better? I don’t now, I don’t care.
And have half the team (players) sitting in respawn menu waiting for it to become available
I like it in theory…but thats about what will happen.
This has nothing to do with spawn cost.
This is 100% related to vehicle cap (2 tanks at any given time).
No i mean if theres a cooldown between vehicles, people sit in respawn waiting for it to become available because they know its not occupied and must be soon. I seem to remember that in Battlefield
Couldn’t get into a vehicle for the entire battle or do you want to nerf vehicles because they killed you too often?
Because I would like realism that a company of tanks is attacking, i.e. 15-20, and planes with squadrons of 12-16 planes. A bombing raid is like 60 to 100 bombers should fly. The artillery should soften the foreground for an hour.
Always better is to gain as much intellectual audience as possible. But f2p always aim at braindeads, so many problems have no solution without crazy restrictions. Braindeads will always dead
