We need some solution to vehicle spam

Well maybe we should make gameplay less idiotic and triggering so people would do their roles with happiness like in some battlebit stuff, instead of doing sniping/tanking/spamming/leaving? Oh no, it’s too OP isn’t it

I just went into a game in Normandy where someone was able to cycle between three different planes all the time (Bf-110, Bf-109 and Ju-188), it was quite annoying to say the least. I ended up spamming my P-38 to kill as many plane as possible and got the “best fighter pilot award” but we lost the game anyway.

for me it is stupid that there is same spawn cost when spawning infantry with 3 soldiers and shit equipment and 9 soldiers with end game equipment.
also same with equal spawn cost between vehicles no matter if it is heavy, medium or light tank, or fighter or CAS.
but also i am aware that implementing different cost would just make some players bleed teams tickets even faster than now.

if you want solution to vehicle spam, then it would be better to increase players in team to 15 with same number of vehicles. but idk if game could support 15v15 players battles with its current playerbase.

As a player I would rather keep the 2 tanks 1 plane type per side and ask for 15 VS 15

yes, ive been proposing for months to make games 15v15 and have 2 tanks and 2 plane & 10 infantry & 1 flexible vehicle squad. this way the ratio of infantry increases and vehicle combat gets more flexible too.

Give me larger playable area and larger objectives and I’m in.
But only then. Otherweise it will be just more mayhem and explosions.

Doesn’t help when the Devs have no loves for Engis amd put a underpowered AT gun and neutered AA gun against any vehicle the game has

When I was grinding Normandy Axis, the quad AA gun is what kept me going against those rocket spammers, they neutered them to peashooters, but no longer matter, since I am grinding the opposite side and I am the rocket spammer :^)

I suggested them to improve AA and AT guns, or rebalance the vhicles, they kept ignoring it so, nothing stop me exploiting the game I guess?

Even if the tank is in the gray zone, it is possible to build an anti-tank cannon in such a place to incapacitate the target. And if not, call the radio operator and smoke.

Tank spam is nothing compared to plane spam.

Try the a-20, P-47, and event P-47/P-38 spam cycle. Never have to fight on ground.

there exists a cooldown for each vehicle squad, so that if you loose them too quickly you get to wait a bit before using it again, could be increased in general, which still should not effect “normal” gameplay anyways.

i mean common cooldown for all team obviously

It wouldn’t be so bad if you could actually build meaningful fortifications that would PROTECT against vehicle bombardment.

Instead, every bomb, rocket, and HE shell hits infantry with pretty much no way to defend against it.

Sandbags instantly shatter from any nearby fragmentation at all, when in reality that was exactly what they were supposed to protect against.

tell me about fortification that engineers can build that are effective against bombs? unless they can make underground bunker anything buildable on ground should be destroyable by bombs.

Direct or very near hits, I agree with you.

However, the 2 issues that I have with them

  1. The bombs are often times not even landing near the fortifications. The actual blast radius isn’t as large as many people would think. Look at aircraft bombs vs tanks for example. The bombs actually have to land pretty close to the tank because its the actual blast not the fragmentation that kills them.
    So the primary blast should break fortifications, but NOT the fragmentation.

  2. Line-of- sight. All too often, fortifications are being destroyed despite being behind solid terrain and not even having a line in which the bomb should be able to take it out.

One suggestion: vehicles don’t get the luxury of grey zone. Create a method where the battlefield around vehicles is open and connected to the active region for the opposing players. The active region appears only when the tank is spotted and then will stay open while there are attackers in the vicinity. If the tank is destroyed, the players surviving squad members should then “teleported” either to a fixed spawn point or have an extended time to reach the “inbounds” battlefield or something like that.

Cut off grey zone for all. That thing create much more problems than solution. Max mini grey zone around attacker main respawns. With paratroopers breaking balance greyzone should be cut off from game. For sure that would mean no more destroying rally/builds/traps in enemy lines or taking damage while trying to destroy tank behind grey zone. Strange in that game someone can pinpoint jump behind enemy lines with overpowered unit+joker crate,but someone need move 100 200 300 meters from respawn under enemy fire cant build or attack enemy in grey zone. About planes, ofteen is more profit for your team leave enemy alive than kill him since most will waste full match killing less 20 units. Grey zone in game should be hidden feature just to focus ai in objectives sincerally. That means they will play inside “open zone”. But for players that just destroy several new ways to play game like active defense attacking attacker side.
