We need a official game guide for Soviet BR5

It’s all right but can’t compete vs T20 and Super Hei

It’s pretty crap after everyone get ultra powerful pocket rocket launchers, just as op planes (now jets included), better tanks. It’s extremely vulnerable against tnt and demo packs. KV-1 and T-34 are much harder to destroy than Tiger 2.

Want me to keep going and showing you even bigger collage of destroyed crappy paper thin Tigers? Just today i must have destroyed at least 6 of them

We never needed the King Tiger 2, but it was given to us so that the Soviets and the Allies could continue to make stupid arguments and produce more nonsense. If things had gone my way, the Soviets and the Allies would not have been happy, and we probably wouldn’t have been able to monetise the game as they wanted. It’s unlikely that the developers will agree with me.

Don’t be funny. KV also needs to face these challenges, and on this basis, it will be easily destroyed by Pz.4 (H).

Except it doesn’t as it can downtier vs BR2 where it will be almost unkillable you need to use plane or have br3 teammate with faust to reliably destroy it.

Pz4h can’t reliably kill Kv-1, as it’s turret and hull armor is really bouncy only at very close range you can as you can aim for it’s weak spots but at mid range? Forget about it, it’s a pixel hunt while KV-1 will have much easier time penning you and one shooting your pathetic panzer that has absolutely zero armor and dies to a fart.

It would be very easy to fix everything, but the developers don’t want it that way.

Its situation is not worse than IS-2 (1944) at all.

IS-2 1944 can reliably murder KT across the map in a single shot while PZ4H can’t do the same against KV-1. IS-2 just has a slow reloading speed that’s why you use T-34-100 which is included in my collage above. Plus KV-1 can downtier and dominate BR2 being unkillable for many minutes, while KT can’t dominate BR4 as they have faust 100+ofenrohr and much stronger planes.

Which I think is fair… whats the range for AVT and AVS to be still one hit kills?

So 20 meters for FG42 but 70 meters for AVS? Well i am aware of AVS dealing more damage than AVT, but 70 meters is quite some range for this game…

70m is for AVT, it is 85m for AVS.

so you get 20m cause of 15 damage needed to kill body armor+vitality and 70m for 13.5 damage for AVT. btw corrected AVS range cause it was wrong before.

I think I have played a grand total of about 12 level five Soviets games and only won once. :rofl: So, I don’t play level five Soviets anymore, either Germans or Allies. But I do win between 60-70% of the time in level two Soviets.

Last update completely wiped out few last remaining highly functioning Soviet players now it’s lose after lose after lose.
I didn’t expected for such basic change as FG42 dmg buff and lack of active event to obliterate their iq points by 95%. I guess it’s time to drop my WR from 78.54% to 1%.
I wonder what kind of buff Dark Gaijin going to prepare for Soviets, maybe they should give them free fresh brains with IQ of over 100 and pre programmed fetish of building rallies.

if devs wanted balanced game, then they should:

  1. remove body armor
  2. add t44-100 or is-100 to tech tree
  3. add 20 round magazine for AVT40

but cause devs, only latter 2 will be implemented.

that only works if we get our counters to the PPSH and our cannons on our planes to work on taking out tanks and not to be cursed with a broken flight model.

They’re going to re-queue half of the Germany players as Soviet players.
Honestly, the only actual weakness of Germany is the fact that almost every pilot they have is terrible. So often they are using jets and such and completely missing their targets and then overshooting their bombs. I get that Germany having terrible late-war pilots is historically accurate, but it’s just sad seeing volleys of explosive rounds land a few meters in front of you and then seeing them drop a bomb about 200m away and then getting sniped by an AI sniper you couldn’t see through the smoke.

This is what happens when we buff just 1 thing, 1 THING to Germany, oh wait whenever 4-5 OP things are added to URRS or nerfed to Germany we just have to sit and play seeing how everything burn

URRS mains can’t Even see a little flamme cuz they are going to complain while axis literally is dancing while being set on fire but mfs still carring whole games

After returning to BR2 Soviets i can easily say that BR5 Soviets have lost their IQ and sanity from playing only Belin/Stalingrad through entire year.

At BR2 Sov you have:

  • Friendly Rallies/apcs ready for your infantry
  • Teams attacking the point
  • Teammates destroying enemy tanks/apcs
  • Decent KDR of your teammates
  • Wide variety of maps
  • People flanking

At BR5 Sov you have:

  • Close to no rallies, 0-1 apcs
  • Teammates just jerking off in a bunker/eating panzer chocolate under a bridge
  • Teammates ignoring Tigers or very rarely destroying them with a plane
  • Awful KDR of your teammates you will have more kills than half of your team combined
  • Awful maps but it’s a given as it’s only Berlin/Stalingrad/Rzhev at least last one is pretty decent
  • Flanking? Never heard of it
