I have spent over a dozen hours in Berlin German faction now.
And so on.
Everytime, only few elite players and I contribute >50% effort to the team. While soviet side can always perform evenly. With lots of players contribute to the team.
Also, it seems that, the weaker a side is, the more chance that side get console players.
The Berlin German players are hopeless.
Most times team just do nothing.
Just forget the traditional way of balancing, it dosent work.
Because now most players have grinded Soviet faction to top levels, also bought lots of Soviet premiums, so they REFUSE to switch side. And still keep staying at Soviet faction. Regardless of how Soviet side has been nerfed.
We need some more EXTREME ways to deal with the balance problems.
Not joking, for most matches (only few matches that there’s more than one elite players in this faction)
Berlin German faction need the ability to defeat whole Soviet team with only 1~2 players Just forget about the rest of the team, and keep focus on enhancing top tier players.
How to fix Germans not play for the goal?
Like:
360° surrounding point but no one enters it. (Including over the top)
We all know the respawn ticket, and capture time can set differently for each faction.
EASY!
I have been testing different map for so long. (A wiki that include capture time and respawn resupply is coming soon)
Now average Soviet invasion zone cap time is ~50s. But German still has ~30s.
Still not enough.
Set soviet attacking side capture time up to 60~90s. While set German side capture time down to 10~20s.
So only one German player can easily capture the point for whole team. While Soviet have to use the whole team to capture.
Also What about Soviet’s attack are so fierce? But German’s attack is so weak?
EASY!
Remember we can set different respawn cost and resupply?
Now Soviet already cost more respawn ticket than Germans. Like 14vs12.
Also for resupply after captured each point, the ticket resupply for Soviet is ~140, while for German is ~250.
Still NOT ENOUGH.
How can only ONE player in German to defeat whole 10 players in Soviet?
Soviet respawn cost must be even higher. 15~20 per respawn is acceptable.
Also, 140 resupply is still too much, that makes Soviet attack endless. Only 80~100 is OK.
While give German MORE resupply! To relief those AI and newbee’s wasted tickets!
Normandy’s 333 per cap is OK for me.
Also reduce German respawn cost down to 10! So that those few elite players in German can have enough tickets to attack!
Dont forget for Destruction, Assault mode, you too can set different timer, tickets for different side!
For weapons:
FG42/MG42/Tiger/Stuka is still not enough for current situation.
We need much stronger top levels weapons and vehicles.
Also keep nerfing Soviet weapons.
PPSH is still to close to German side weapons. Just nerf it. Also dont forget PPSH drum tend to get stuck when firing. Add this feature.
Also DP and DT’s recoil and spread is still to accurate. DP and DT IRL is very hard to ADS without mounted.
And consider to use 10 round magazine for AVT40. 15/15 is too much.
After these decisive changes, players will eventually leave Soviet side! Making this campaign more balanced.
Also to dev:
Players will have to re-grind German again.
Buying Premiums for German.
Spending gold on German tech tree!
Dev can also earn a lot from it!
