Greetings, the appearance of Soviet soldiers has been incredibly hurting my eyes for a long time. Even with the maximum possible equipment, an ordinary fighter does not look like a real Red Army soldier of 1941-42 (Moscow Company). Even with all the desire, it is impossible to make the soldiers look identical. Then one has an ammo bag, and the other one hasn’t, one has a flask, and the other does not have it. In general, a complete mess.
Here I have compiled the maximum possible relatively realistic image of the fighters, but still, there are a lot of shortcomings
For example, these horrible green things on the collar , although the exact year ago were red on gray overcoats.
The second problem is the faces, 80% are entirely unrealistic and completely unsuitable for real faces. Why not just copy 10-20 different faces from photos of Red Army soldiers. From what I see now, there is a feeling that the faces were made from scratch, which is the reason they do not correspond to the era.
And yes by the way the face and overall soldier below is the best example that I could get
My suggestions:
- Make for each squad, especially for ordinary infantry shooters, one stock skin In FULL UNIFORM and already in terms of customization, add the ability to change the color of overcoats, gloves, change caps/earflaps to helmets, etc.
As an example of this:
or this one:
Additional items of equipment by the type of axes, shovels, and new pouches are displayed on the fighter. That is, for example, a stock skin has one pouch and when buying a new one, a new one appears on the other side. When buying a large backpack, it replaces a duffel bag. When buying an ax and equipping it, it weighs at the hip.
Considering that it is autumn/winter in Moscow, the stock fighters should be given either helmets or earflaps.
I think most players approve of these suggestions as it is simply necessary for immersion and improvement of the game.

Further,
I consider sound to be another problematic thing. Voices, the sounds of one’s own walking, and ammunition are heard damn poorly, I tried to play with the game settings, but it’s still impossible to achieve a balance between the sounds of shooting, running, explosions and ammunition.
Plus, when running, the sound periodically disappears, that is, you can hear the sound of running for four seconds, then quietly, and then again. I tested at different volumes, without headphones, etc., but I realized that this is a problem with the game.
Offers:
Make the sounds of shooting, running, ammunition, shortness of breath, and the voice of a fighter more audible. This is especially true of severe shortness of breath with a drop in strength. All this should be done several times louder for the player himself, and not so that there is a sound coming from the toilet somewhere. If you think that everything is fine, then try to shout and do it in the game, I think you will immediately notice that in reality your own voice is heard many times better than it is done in the game.
Make the sound of running on the surface constantly and remove these strange interruptions as if the soldier is hanging in the air, so the knock of the guns is not heard.
Further:
As has been said more than once, animations need to be improved, especially movement animations. Now they are very cardboard and not very similar to the real ones. This is especially true for running and walking. Running with a gun is generally nonsense, from the third person it looks normal, but from the first person, the movements of the left hand are very unnatural. I think this has already been painted without me for a long time.
I ask all fellow forum members to add their ideas below in the comments.
New mechanics and game modes are appearing, but the appearance and equipment of the fighters are still at a low level. This needs to be fixed.
And yes, make sure that ammunition and weapons do not pass through the soldiers’ clothes.
