Intro-
So I recently came back to enlisted after a while and now i remember why I took a break. Got stomped 3 games in a roll. My win rate is 40% last time I checked, with an awful K/D of about 1.2. I main USSR and Idk if german players are more coordinated or they have better equipment? They just seem to kick ass. 3 games, 1 conquest and 2 defence of 5 cap points (forgot the name), and conquest lost by tickets. only I was building rally points. For the defence, one game again only I was building rally, and they all ended with us loosing and the germans having about 700 ish man power left.
Several tactics I tried coming back:
Flanking: I dont seem to get any luck, Germans have everywhere covered, and my reaction time is just too shi to deal with multiple enemies. They are everywhere, I cant even hide when laying prone on the ground as they kill me before I even see them.
explosive (riffle grenades): They seem to have nerfed the rifle grenades and I can feel it, just missing my stuff and getting my ass wiped.
brawling: Idk if my reaction is slow, they always get me in close quarters, so I just avoid it after some bitter experiences
going into the prone laying down position when in trouble, lowers my silhouette but also lowers my field of view and awareness. Works alright I guess.
Here are some things I struggle with, please give advice if you can. It will be greatly appreciated.
Crap reaction time, which is what this game is about. I the type to aim carefully and conserve ammo, which gets me killed. But not aiming and bilidly/prediction shooting it works out worse for me.
Humiliating story, I got my squad of 5 riflemen and 4 of them got killed by a guy ambushing using a PISTOL, yes you read me, PISTOL. I wanted revenge but he was just faster, note I was using Winchester 1895.
I dont know how to flank and where to flank, as I just get caught up and destroyed.
My bots keep dying and exposing my positions, so I tend to use smaller squads bcs my logic is the less men, the less chance I get exposed. 3 for my guerilla squad, 5 for my riflemen squad, 5 for my anti tank squad, 5 for my APC squad , and as much as possible for tank brigade.
I run straight to battlefield mostly to the objective and I just get killed as Germans run around like maniacs, they kneel, tilt and do all sorts of weird stuff which causes me to miss shots. Any tips for dealing with that type of play will be appreciated.
I am probably a very problematic player and I wanna improve, please give any advice on changing my playstyle because mine doesnt work well. The list of problems goes on but the mentioned are the ones that come to mind. Thanks for the long read and the help, I hope to come back next time with a better outlook on the game.

“PARADIVISION” for example has a ton of interesting and useful videos.
BTW: Some people think that soviet playerbase has “some issues”. Maybe you would have more fun with another faction to start with .
First of all, you should make sure that all of your equipment is the same BR when going into battle.
Its okay if you are playing with some lower BR equipment mixed in, but you dont want a single BR5 weapon uptiering all the way to BR5 when most of your rifles are BR2.
Second, make sure your soldiers have good perks those help a lot.
Third, upgrade your weapons, upgraded weapons are a huge boost in fire power.
Fourth, try playing on different server/faction/BR sometimes a faction is doing terribly at a certain BR for months, in times like this its worth trying other options.
Fifth, try finding a squad on discord, there are many players that like to play in groups, they can help you win matches and can give you tips.
I just lost a match as BR2 Soviets because we got uptiered (against a bunch of BR3 players while we had no BR3 players) and most of my team was equipped with BR1 weapons instead of BR2 (why are they playing BR2 instead of BR1 is beyond me), but trust me the Soviet BR2 weapons available are the strongest on BR2.
Fedorov 1912 has the same damage as BR4 rifles and Pps42, Pps43 and Urugan out perform even many BR3 SMG.
I only play Germany brV but in a suicidal manner, nothing wrong with being problematic, i am 60 yrs and not the fastest of the club. Don’t care about points or kills or rank.
Most of the time i am surrounded by dumb f bots/players, shitty tanks that block everything attracting bombs .
Very rare to see someone tilt or see a human interaction. Y mark the dude and get your revenge later. i am not gonna twist and press thousand of keys to make a kill . be happy a human is playing…
The win or lose of a game is known after 60 seconds. It is either y stay to cash in or desert. odds are 65/35.
For the rest sit back ,set yr squad on wide so they are not to close to you if y die. The objective is not always the objective but a certain death. Go wide and mess up their logistic support, their spawns and camping tanks.
I would advise you to play BR2 if you want to play Soviets as BR4 is very often uptiered and Germany BR5 is indeed stacked with many veterans that want to play with the new Me-262 or MG81.
Most Soviet veterans are playing either BR2 or 3 right now.
they do down in 1 shot if you max upgrade them, but sometimes you still have to finish off the enemy with a second shot because the downing mechanism is chance based.
Axis are more coordinated, their equipment are somewhat equal or inferior.
But! You have the attitude of a GOOD player! Because you ask for tips, strategies and ways to improve (instead of crying for nerfs like a squid)! This is how to win, and you will if you keep this mindset!
youre better off using sniper class if you have slower reaction time. if you can snipe and place rally points near objective thats 100times better than running in and getting gunned down ( depends on the map and game objective. also good for attacking ) if you need to push a point and its close quarters just spray your whole clip into them even if they’re dead. I suggest using your assaulter and machine gun squad as your second or third squad when starting a battle and for your first squad if you have a rifle squad so you can figure out where they’re going so you can come back and spray them down. for your bots put them on close and aggressive you can do that by holding down the command key and it’ll tell you what to press also press x to leave them at a hidden spot and once you move out 50m place them at a new point. I suggest having a APC squad, SMG OR MG squad, and a tank or plane depending on what they use the most ( plane to kill tanks or tanks if they use a lot of planes so you can kill the troops on the ground )
