Update 0.6.0.72

That would be a nice solution too

No, they run over them like Jesus when he runs over water.
Specially with 15% sprint and vitality perk…
They are useless and only the toxic art of mining rally points has a real effect - and I will continue that way until better values are back.

They should be buffed again (old values), buuuut:

  • Long placing time (~5 secs)
  • The mines became more sensitive to other explosions. That could stay → when a mine explodes, all other in a radius will detonate too so there is no spam. Grenades/explosives will clear the room too.
  • Alternative: Only some units can use the mines → engineers, snipers and paras. To still get some numbers, they have 2-3 in their inventory.

Would be far more fair and competent then just a stupid “oi lets nerf dat thing!”.

Any perosn that thinks THIS is the thing and “well needed” really has L2P issues. Really.

It’s really all I want. They could do the same pre patch damage values/radius if we had this.

Because I’d know the guy would have took the time to carefully place it, on purpose as a real thought off trap, and exploding on it I could say “ah! Well played, sneaky bastard!”

Dropped like they are in the middle of intense firefights, I just can’t.

I totally support that. There should be an animation, 5 sec’s, and run.

Mines often are the last ditch to protect your back. HOW when they dont work?

  • I can accept AP mines but not the ones placed on rally points, I hate them. It’s mining a teleport exit point of soldiers who can’t teleport, an abstract nonsense and bad player experience on the receiving end.
  • 5 sec deploy time for AP mines is a good idea
  • limiting them would also be good (e.g. after using more than 3, the old ones get “forgotten” and become AP mines against your own squads as well, or limiting them to certain classes)
  • nerfing them to useless is a BAD step but usual here, some semi-implemented things get abused and become widespread, then get practically removed from the game instead of getting fixed and keeping the game more versatile :frowning:
  • a soldier sprinting over the AP mine may not trigger it if jumping over it without touching (I think the 3D model is not the tripwire type), so he may survive, but definitely should get blasted if he triggers it
  • I’d be happy to have my AP-aware units turn over enemy AP mines to friendly ones in 5 sec

Thx for the tip on mining our own rally points, I did learn something today.

To encounter nasty things you have to become nasty. Thats all. No nerf needed relating to mined rallys.

Simply place an AP mine on your own spawn to prevent your opponent from placing their own on it. Problem solved.

Now if only those fucking guys were on my team huh, im stuck at br2 for most nations, breaking into br 3 now. Anyway at br 2 I have no issue with the mines there. Maybe its just me not seeing the big issues then.

weapon bug

squads which are using the S&W Light Rifle as secondary rifle using them as main weapon instead of the actual main weapon. For example: the premium radio operator squad with the Turner SMLE. Bots switching every time on the secondary weapon instead of using their main weapon.

Please fix

But I’m here for fun gunplay, so I’d welcome everything that pushes the game in that direction.

These? Can you please lend me some?

research tier 2

I’ve played like hundreds of hours with this game and still have not unlocked it for every faction, what kind of advice would that be for a newbie to counter some lowly tactics exploiting game mechanics? I don’t like it but understand that many experienced players enjoy it, so as long as the AP mines are nerfed to oblivion, I’m okay with AP mined rally points…

you said you fixed the bug with the Colt Swartz which bots using as main weapon…
These bug is still active. I had that one few seconds ago

can confirm this.

I just walked over one, after jumping off a sandbag. Heard the click, then concussion, and that’s all. Did not even need a medkit.
