Update 0.1.11.27 Feedback

Would still have to cook the grenade as the range on it wouldn’t be amazing (shorter than anti-infantry)
So it wouldn’t be much better than explosive packs. It would simply allow you to spend one of your (asumably more common) frags to guarantee the explosive pack kill.

that’s still nearly-guaranteed tank destruction just by being in the general vicinity of infantry.

So would the inclusion of spammable AI mines be - except you don’t even get a warning about those as those can be placed 10 minutes in advance inside of a random bush that you can not possibly check for a mine.

Fix the MP41’s complete and utter lack of recoil.
Remove flinch from SMGs.

no, you would have to go out of your way to bring mines along, which not everyone would as you can’t use them against infantry.

With frag grenades throwing tracks, everyone gains AT capacity without sacrificing anything

Mines are still spammable and impossible to counter, making them as bad/fun as mortars to fight against

tell me more about how this un-implemented mechanic works

Mines have proved to be extremely annoying in H&G.
You can not use them to actively hunt tanks, as they will never drive where you want them to drive.
But if you pop them in a random bush, you are practically guaranteed to take out a tank during the rest of the match. Just gotta wait 10-30min but a tank will drive past that random bush and die to the mine that they could never possibly predict was there.

And if they lose a track in a random bush in Enlisted, I doubt anyone will even notice.

It would be highly annoying. And if you happen to have run out of repair kits, you would have to abandon the tank

Except if the person who placed the mine isn’t getting a random tank kill and doesn’t place the mine in a location where anyone can capitalize on it- why would they throw a mine in a bush to begin with?

There’s no reward, they’re just wasting a slot.

Those random bushes could very well be in the middle of the combat area.
Point is - a place where you can’t see it from inside the tank

You literally get punished for not having a infantry dude crawl in front of you checking for mines.

If you actually hit a landmine, it’s because you were moving on a predictable path, possibly forced into a chokepoint by other factors.

A landmine in a bush has a miniscule chance of you hitting it; it’s not in the slightest a real concern.

Within a month, the most cheeky spots will be figured out and the tanks will literally have to take the most akward routes because oooh boi what if there is a mine on the more obvious routes.

Like, why does one side get to take out a tank for practically free just because one dude decided to put down a mine?

Not an issue.

Are you complaining that you might get a kill if you fire a rifle grenade in a random direction into the air?

That’s pure random chance and not the intended use of the weapon
Mines are quite litterally designed to be random killers.

Btw why are we having this discussing in the update feedback thread
Go make a thread about this if you wanna continue

as are mines.

someone brought up tank balance, and every mention of tank balance will include things like this.

Excellent game so far. The squad play is hands down the most impressive and most enjoyable. Can’t wait to see more!

CHANGE LEANING. Everyone just runs around leaning constantly. it looks insanely stupid and needing to retrain myself to shoot an L shaped soldier makes me not want to play at all.

I understand people will always try to find ways to be the most annoying/unfun to play with as possible but there’s way too much incentive as it stands. You can rapidly change your hitbox with almost no penalties to yourself, so everyone does it constantly.

“git gud” I’m top of the leader board with kills and caps frequently, shit just annoys me.

I don’t think AT mines should be strong, I’m in favour of immobilisation kill only, and perhaps a limitation on how far from spawn they can be planted. They should be spawn protection weapons.
