The Type Hei Auto should have its magazine capacity reduced from 30rnds to 20rnds

As we can see reduced capacity magazines for the “Experimental Ultra-Light Machinegun” aka Type Hei Automatic Rifle were made. As it stands now the Type Hei Auto is the only full-power Select Fire rifle with such a large magazine capacity, moreover it has relatively negligible recoil
Here it is compared to its counterparts:

This is ridiculous when you consider the fact that one of the main reasons that the Type Hei Auto failed it’s trials was because of its uncontrollability.
My suggestion is simple:
-
Keep a 20rnd variant of the Type Hei Auto in the Rifle branch of the Research Tree.
-
Move the 30rnd Variant to the Machinegun branch at BRIV since it was trialed as an LMG in the first place.
-
Increase the vertical recoil to match the T20 at least.

To be honest I would like to see more options for Japan rather than nerfing the Type Hei Automatic Rifle. It is one of the if not the sole reason Japan is able to compete with the US at BR V.
Plus it would also upset a lot of people who have invested the time and silver to setup their meta line-up centered around the Type Hei Automatic Rifle (including me).
Many people suggested to just slot in the M2 Carbine in the SMG category for the US. But we all saw what happened and the devs ended up adding the T20 Rifle.
The experimental version of the Type 2A SMG chambered in the 6.5×30 mm SR Type 95 Arisaka cartridge could be a perfect addition in this regard. We all know how stable this SMG is and now it gets a powerful cartridge.
This will help shift the meta for Japan since currently 9-man rifleman squads equipped with Type Hei Automatic Rifles are the strongest squad for them (if not the entire game). Such a weapon will give a genuine reason to again start using assaulters for Japan.

You do know that Japan is underpowered by ton? Its literal strength is some smgs, type Hei automatic rifle, and some planes against Allies. But here it is the real type Hei automatic with 30 rounds lmg here.
No need thanks
Type 90s are ok and no need for that
If you lose against this rifle unlike T20 which is also op against Germans, then just cope or use planes or tanks since they they are also inferior at it. At least im happy they got something better than Allies anyway lmfaoo.

Yeah. Like that is fine as long as you enjoy using that weapon. A similar case can be made for the 50 round Thompson for the US as well. It is a game and you are absolutely free what you like to play with. But again there is a certain meta in this game and we all know the cheat code for the US and Japan I guess.

Yeah. Like you can get a fair idea of that if you watch the replays of the clan tournaments in this game. The funny thing is previously the USSR was the favourite pic among the e-sport enthusiasts. But the Type Hei Automatic Rifle has catapulted Japan to that position in a big way.

which applies to t20 & avt just as well.

I would like this too as an assaulter weapon.

That’s why federov avtomat should be reclassified as SF rifle.
It literally uses the same cartridge just as type hei. And it literally does have premium MG version just as type hei.
I am pretty sure Soviet players would be very happy for new better SF rifle. And they would kept AS-44 as AR.

Avt/avs had 20-30 cartridge magazines. For future confrontation with the Japanese, they need him.
Spoiler

Regarding Japanese weapons, there are a lot of problems in finding them, but there are a couple of interesting paper options, although there are mentions that they were manufactured, but did not even have time for testing since it was 1945.
This is a good point. I think Fedorovs being classified as Assault rifles is ridiculous. To be an assault rifle you need an intermidiate cartridge.

Why not? Its the same as the T20. If everythimg else stays the same the Type Hei will still be a laser beam, 30rnds or 20 it doesnt matyer the thing recoils like a .22lr
They also should’ve just stayed in BR III and not been brought up to V in the first place

The blame goes to the ‘hype train’. And that train has left for greener pastures ever since.
Then I ask you. Once Japan has planes, tanks, assault rifles and AT weapons to rival the US, would it then be appropriate to have such an over-performing SF Rifle?
The tides turn eventually people will start complaining that Japan is OP and in my experience I rarely loose as Japan as it is. So dont be surprised if angry US mains come out of the wood work to protest all these protos and paper designs in the Japanese Tree.
Compete??? Ever since the Type Hei auto was added I have maybe lost a dozen matches as Japan. I rarely loose as Japan even during the Stinger Spam

That’s because the people who slugged their way to BR V Japan are insane and are some of the worst people to play against because they know exactly what they are doing and how to do it

When they introduce a new front in Japan, they will dominate, but it’s too early for that. speak. They need an Anti Tank weapon 160mm+, as well as remove takeoff from the aircraft carrier and set a timer on planes at the beginning of the battle.
