Turning the Tide - Operation Citadel & Bagration 43-44 Campaign Concept

Okay, they had like 4 Pz II per 100 tanks and so. Bad example anyway.

That wasn’t my point. My point it, there’s already quite number stuff on low BRs that weren’t used in Battle of Kursk.

This strict pseudo limitation is just ridiculous. Especially since enlisted isn’t some historical milsim. It’s literally just console ww2 sandbox.

I guess you should find a different game.

I wouldnt mind kursk being br 4 but i would also like to see it in lower br. Maybe someday we will get better mm queues so we dont have to see a-13s in normandy and panzer 3bs in ardennes

So? At least it existed and isn’t fake time travellers like T-34-85 would be.

Ain’t nobody is demanding that everything must be exactly what was used in Berlin and Stalingrad for example.
Just needs to make sense.

I guess you should check your facts first before claiming BS.

Well, panthers for Kursk are necessary for obvious reasons. :))

The Panther tank was seen as a necessary component of Operation Citadel, and the attack was delayed several times because of their mechanical problems and to receive more Panthers

Thus your shtty low BR restrictions based on selectively chosen facts is pure BS.

Whatever, that wasn’t my point. I just used wrong example.

The panthers in kursk were the early models that unfortunately dont exist in enlisted

Lmao, Kursk campaign would be literally reason to add into the game.

What argument is even that?

There’s not T-34-76 with later turret as well.

I am just sad that we dont have panther d. I was never against you

Better Kursk without Panthers than Kursk with T-34-85.

Lame personal preference without any real value whatsoever.

BR 3 Fernidand for realism junkies  :sob:

Currently im & this concept is working within the BR system that DF has laid out; If we wanted to get BR Realistic I think majority of it falls well within BR4, Fernidands being the notable exception at BR5 and used heavily in the battle.

I mean thats just obvious bias? Why not Panther D?

Re no inclusion of it in the lineup or the T-34/76 obr43 ; both in matchmaking dont bring too much to the table for players who face a vehicle choice, i thought OT-34/76 would be more relevant and novel (& they saw much action at Minsk) while Nashorn and Fernidand are more flavorful for the open steppe battles presented at Kursk/ Rus steppe.

KV-2 for example is here cause 1. Its in the editor already and this is an ok spot to bring it in; 2. Otherwise would be represented by the SU-152 which is a less flexible KV2 generally anyhow.

Op Mercury, Monte Cassino, Market Garden next

Kursk without Panthers, Tigers and T-34-85 would be a copy-paste of Stalingrad :-1:

What bias?
Because Panther (ANY) in Enlisted realities will drag T-34-85 with it, and it simply didn’t exist then.
Maybe you like these ideas like Dunkirk with Tiger 2s.
I don’t.

There were no T-34-85s, they did not exist.

I don’t see the fixation on the word “Kursk” – it’s just a steppe/field, not even the city itself.

Just add a map like this and everyone is happy:

Once again, Kursk with T-34-85 is NOT Kursk.

Reminds me of the classic soviet film "Liberation " EP1, T-34/85 VS T-44 and IS-3 in Kursk lol

DP 38? It is usually referred to as hopper fed DP, in the documents as DPM 1 or DPM 2 depending on the model. But it doesn’t matter, the main problem is that the hopper held 25 rounds, not 30.

By the way, this is a great topic!

The english book I found on the topic named it as such, probably an informal name it seems. ill post a link if its not named in the bibliography, away from compter next 48hrs.

Thanks for the ammo correction. Still would work as a low BR2 machinegun of domestic production.

Edit: well there goes that lol
