Hello! I just started playing Enlisted (4h play time) and I’m hooked. I mainly play America, but I’ve dabbled in all of the other factions. I’ve unlocked all of the squad upgrades in my main rifle squad, enlisted an engineer, and am researching to get a radio operator. Looking for tips on grinding and also wondering if I should regularly play with a different faction and what it should be. I hear that Russia is best at low BRs but I get bored of playing in similar maps. Also wondering what guns are best in American BR1. Thanks!
I would keep using M50, there’s not really many options.
For BR2, try to get Thompson M1A1 as soon as possible.
You don’t need to play more than one faction. It’s really all about personal preference.
That’s a good thing.
Build rally points as often as you can. That’s the way you’re going to win matches.
play with the - join any army feature since it will help with getting exp for the faction youre playing as in that match. Use m for the map x to tell your troops to stand in a area and v to spot other than that enjoy the low battle rating battles
I really like Sten 2 as it’s a pretty much almost as good as MP40 (minus the damage ofc), you don’t have much choice when it comes to rifles at BR1 just pick whatever you want just avoid carbines i mostly used USMC.
You will feel the real power of American nation with BR2 as you can get Thompson M1A1 + Enfield, M8 Scott as it’s most spammable tank you can get, Crusader is also great, P38 for rocket spam and P51 for bombing runs. Just avoid shotguns as they are extremely pathetic and need big buff.
M1 Carbine is all right but not as great as just one shotting people with a bolt rifle, it angers the bots every time to shoot so be prepared to get 180 no scoped after shooting more than a couple of shots.
engineers wins battles
Building rallies.
Consider rally points as xp/money printing machines. Plus they make you win so you get the 50% bonus for victory.
Being IN cap zones.
Every action you undertake in them (capturing or killing enemies inside, or from it) gives you a LOT of points
Medics are underrated. Don’t play them like assaulters, but as real medics. The xp/points you get simply for healing others is ridiculously high!
Have fun in what you do. The rest comes naturally.
Well, this gun is the 4th Tier I think, he is not likely to get it anytime soon unfortunately…
Rifle : Springfield M1903A1 USMC, you can still keep the standard M1903 as it’s cheaper to upgrade and not very different. The P14 is quite bad… I do play it because it’s british but no bayonet, low rate of fire and awkward sights…
SMG : Well I would say the three available choices are quite good honestly :
- The sten is an absolute beast at short range but quite lacking at medium and longer ranges.
- The M3 is the opposite, slow fire rate but very high damage and good accuracy, excellent for medium range
- The M50 is good middle ground but suffer from low ammo count.
For tanks I would suggest the M5A1 Stuart, it’s one of the best BR1 tank in the game
But this is best thing you can do to win games. Unlock the engineer (Enfield P14) and give one to any squad that can use them
True, indeed 100% seal clubbing tool.
heres how you get more EXP and silver and also can play better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qaebVwlXwA&t
Yes I advise you to play at least 1 Allies and 1 Axis faction because balance in this game is terrible (non existent tbh).
The trend is that either the Axis or the Allies are doing well in a certain BR for a while and since you probably want to enjoy that sweet 50% victory bonus (affects silver, squad XP and research points!) you will likely prefer to play the winningside (called victory farming, most veterans are doing it).
So I would advise you to either invest time in Germany-Italy (one faction) or Japanese faction.
Japan is probably the more newbie friendly faction with less grind, however if you play Germans you will also get to fight on the eastern front, while Japan for the moment only fights against the US, so they have no unique maps you haven’t seen yet.
You want him to leave the game? BR1-2 Germany is nothing but suffering they are the weakest nation bar none at BR1-2 and at BR3 they’ve only managed to catch up but are not fully there.
At BR5 they are only temporary playable due FG42 II buff once hype dies out they will turn into running silver pinatas for turtles carrying RD-44/Fedorov.
Germany BR1 would be hella decent if not for +1 MM.
Sadly BR1-2 is very much about spamming SMGs and Germany has by far the worst BR2 SMGs and the gap between BR1 and BR2 SMGs is also a big one since multiple BR2 SMGs are as good as BR3 ones…
As someone with over 1600 hours of Enlisted playtime, my only suggestion is to enjoy the game and not worry about losses and deaths.
And about the factions, I suggest playing two different factions, America and Germany are good. This way you can enjoy all the maps and of course you won’t be biased.(Playing all factions is also an interesting option, but if you don’t have a premium account, you’ll probably get tired of being stuck in low BR pretty quickly.)
No, the map of the Pacific is too suitable for tanks and planes to bombard indiscriminately. I don’t want to see him give up the game because of this.
Don’t desert.
That’s the first thing I ever did when I first started, and I never regretted it once. I’m free to play as well, and I was doing it even before the 50% bonus was active. I’m now at BR III in all factions and am currently researching BR IV gear. I would say I’m at a pretty good place after just one year.
You are right, but most people are in a hurry to reach BR5. It is better not too much (playing just one faction), and not too patient (playing all the factions)
I’m sure people have already told you this, but: always build rallies. There is no such thing as too little rally points, and they give you 35 points every 5 seconds anyway. Win-win for everyone.
Now, onto weaponry.
Rifles:
In summary, you can use any rifle as long as it’s comfortable to use.
- Springfield 1903A1 USMC - my personal favourite for the BR (54 rpm, ring sights, good damage)
- Springfield 1903 - fine. 51 rpm and solid damage. Can service you through BR I.
- Enfield P14 - personal preference. Sights can be great or terrible, and 49 rpm is right on usable.
SMGs:
Again, can use any, as long as it’s not the M50 Reising.
- M50 Reising - good rate of fire (600), good damage, bad mag (20) and bad dispersion. Do not use.
- M3 Grease Gun - slow rate of fire (380), good damage, good mag (30), good accuracy. Usable .
- Sten Mk II - good rate of fire (550), lower damage, good mag (32), mediocre accuracy. My personal favourite to use.
AT rifles:
There is only one choice, and it pains everyone. The Boys AT…an explosive pack is more effective.
- Boys AT - lowest pen (30mm), lowest damage, slow fire rate…nothing you want, but you still need it.
Mortars and Snipers:
Just don’t, please. You’ll earn more points rushing the objective than camping in the back.
you should upgrade your gun
For me, I win most often with Germany in lower levels, especially BR2. Almost 72% w/l with my Germans, and about 62% with my Soviets (that’s without deserting a lot). I rarely win with my level two Allies, but do on occasion at level one. However, people jump factions, especially after one has got new toys so if your winning consistently now with a faction, that might change in a week or so. I played exclusively with the Americans for my first year and a half before starting my German squad, then my Soviets about six months later. Lately, I have been winning more with my level two Soviets and level two Japs, but I don’t play Japs much, only about 143 games in three years.
