If aircraft carriers in the Pacific won’t be another fly thru box (like now ammo refill), then it’s time to practice landing on them.
Here’s a tip for someone who never tried this before:
Reduce engine power to around 20-40%
Slow down to below 400 tas
Put flaps to “landing” (on pc it’s keybind 2)
Extend landing wheels (G)
Try to land as horizontally as possible
Reduce engine power to 0 once you touch the ground
Spam wheel brakes (B)
Once you stop completely, turn off the engine/s (most often there isn’t keybind set to turning them on/off, so recheck keybinds in settings)
The great filter returns.
Remember pacific maps on war thunder where you usually see 2 people crash during carrier takeoffs every game, to say nothing of landings.
In first person braking will be the least of people’s worries. It’s probably not that bad of a change, all things considered, I just wish they dealt with suicide bombers first. Those are a lot more dumb and disruptive than anything else you can do with an airplane.
Looks like you blew off a flap by moving it to the landing position at too high of a speed. Brakes had nothing to do with it.
You’re way too fast, I wouldn’t try them over 200kmh
looks like your flaps ripped off, try deplyoing them at slower speeds.
also side note: you will never land in this strip, tried many times, not with fast planes. Fly a little further away, and look for long and clear hills to land
that is not the problem. I was told to use some kind of brakes so i did it. and it didnt work. guess i will be kamikazing all the time in new campagain;]
oh thats right there are ather kind of brakes just all the way down in controls thx
should be next to each other;]
still there is question what those air one does except destroying your plane;]
