Using both for different BR presets (maybe low/high)?
Using both in the same preset (maybe being a gigachad and using UC for UK and truck for US)?
Using one over the other because you think it’s much better?
I think both are good. I prefer the Universal carrier because its smaller and can be easier to conceal. I am currently running both just for fun.

Both seem to be equally good but have separate tactics to use effectively…
I like the Studebaker more because I’m American, and it feels weird to see British island-hopping with the Americans.

Ya, its pretty odd to see all that North African Kit in the pacific, the Australians and New Zealanders had Universal carriers though, in the SWPA.

I like them both. I actually run the studebaker at BR 3 as a battle bus full of BARs garand and thompsons. Mean machine

I put UC to my full British BR2 line up. And the US farmwagen to my Yankees/Aussies BR2 line up.

I cannot use 2 apcs at the same time. It says i can only bring 1 apc and i think it is stupid
I believe you can have both in the same line up but only spawn one at any given time.
That’s why personally I use just one per line up.

I just tried running this loadout in a game, and it wouldnt let me spawn the APC at all?
Due to it taking the tank slot?
and then you can still build another rally, 3x rally, is what they trying to stop?
I can only bring one squad to the battle. I only have 4 squad slots so maybe thats the reason
I only use the carrier, cuz small and fast
I think there’s a limit to 3x truck/apc rally’s, on map at same time.
SS above in previous post, shows me taking a APC instead of a tank, it wouldn’t spawn, thought it was because i took it in a tank slot
So i just ran with this loadout below, and noticed i couldn’t take either apc/truck, while 3x are on map
Notice how i cant spawn either of my APC, while there is 3x on map
there can only be 3 players using an APC squad at the same time.
That’s the reason why you couldn’t spawn the squad.

universal carrier is best in low tier. due to it’s fighting edge and weapons ( even though it struggles to pen pumas… )
the st(r)udelbaker on the other hand, best for high tiers because allows you to carry more soldiers with potentially more end tier weapons and more bodies to pile up on objective.
but that’s just my opinion.

Universal Carrier shouldn’t be underestimated, its currently the game’s most versatile APC.
I still prefer m3.
- It has radioman. Free kills everytime you spawn.
- very good maneuverability
- usable MG unlike Bren on UC/mg on sdkfz 251/1
- bigger squad than UC has.
