It still deals more damage than AVT and can be used in single fire.

It’s obviously buff for anyone who’s using the weapon correctly. The higher rof is countering dispersion on move.
Just another unnecessary powercreep. Like BR5 is already not all about SF rifles.

No, I unquestionably support 880rof. In addition, when the German mains requested the FG42 of 990rof, only the Soviet mains opposed it.XD

ngl seems that the logic of more rof = more recoil doesnt apply to this gun so overall it got a better rof along an alredy good control

where did you see that i oppose it? i said that i dont care and that most opposition comes from soviet mains.
also most popular suggestion for fg42 asked increase ROF to 900 with upgrades and decrease fg42 2 to 750 with upgrades.
for me actual buff is decrease of ROF for fg42 2.

It was russian mains who first requested fg42 too high rof, while wehraboos did not want it higher.
What was most wanted was equalized damages amongst similar rifles.

In the current topic, these guys who believe that high rof is debuff have not opposed the FG42 of 900 rof.
Their topic came AFTER some red parrot suggested rof changes only.
They constructed it in a smart way: a give & take one.
Because only asking for buffs seldom ever works… their real goal was the damage normalization of FGs. As a compromise there would be rof tweak.
Thankfully the damage suggestion passed. It was about time balance got restored a little.
