I believe the ones you listed there all make sense as ‘factions’.
Personally Ive suggested
France-Poland-Netherlands-Belgium as one faction (comprised of those 4 nations)
China is difficult since so much of its tech was ‘copy paste’ so to speak.
Theres ZERO reason why UK-Commonwealth and Italy shouldnt have their own factions. They have more than enough tech.
UK-Commonwealth and Italy would also allow for sub factions or at least national squads and weapons so like Italy could have Hungary and Romania for example (see War Thunder)
Greece Id add as a part of the UK-Commonwealth since we fought alongside each other.
A Norwegian squad could be added to the previously mentioned France-Poland-BENE tree.
@Willcario I hear you, but thats why the playerbase just needs to get through the devs heads that not every faction needs to be BR V. Doing so ruins the game.
Having some factions be less would allow for more variety (Japan atm is good that it has less tech to grind) and also reflect historical reality (in 1945 USA, USSR and Germany were the ‘BR V’ powers in terms of technological development)
I reckon Italy and UK-Commonwealth could get to BR IV easily. I feel like there would be a BR V British tank, open to suggestions there.
France-Poland-BENE Id say BR III, maybe IV (theres 4 nations there, plenty of potential tech).
Id also add that I think a strong BR I-III tree is much better for Enlisted than a thinly spread out BR I-BR V tree (i.e Japan).
If we cant have new factions (again Im only suggesting UK-Commonwealth, Italy + Minor Axis Nations, France-Poland-BENE and maybe China)
then yes at least give us sub-factions.
The lack of Commonwealth stuff is infuriating because they’re so easy to add. We’ve got most Commonwealth tech already, and some Commonwealth uniforms already exist as assets.
All we need is freely available appearance options for Commonwealth nations and some Commonwealth specific squads (eg Owen gun should be Australian, Ross rifle should be Canadian etc.)
